I didn't expect the trim to look any different; however, it is also brand new. The windows have many features that make cleaning and safety easy to manage. I am no longer disturbed by the sounds of traffic outside. I use a room air conditioner, and I was able to keep it at a low setting in this hot, humid weather. In the past I had to blast the A/C to get any comfort at all. I'm looking forward to being able to be in any room of my house in the winter without cold air flowing through my windows.
