"Keagan and Tyler arrive exactly when the text message said. Because we are doing a complete remodel of whole bathroom we had much of the demolition done. But Keagan and Tyler were very efficient in correcting the problems with the new shower install to exactly what we wanted and needed. Moving the plumbing and putting in light holes in the ceiling panel was no problem. The shower looks great no disappointments. Hopefully we can make the rest of the bathroom look as beautiful. Both men were very friendly and explained what they were doing. They asked our opinions and gave us suggestions to pick from when necessary. Both Keagan and Tyler were very efficient and worked well together."

"Jonathan did me real solids today. Despite the fact that they were here to clean up bascially messes left by the installers on my HVAC on both AC and furnace, he AGAN went ABOVE and BEYOND when he noticed I was doing my own plumbing project. We had hot water seeping out with our water main shut off on a fixture exchange, and he pointed out we can drain the hot water heater partially to stop this. The last plumber didn't eve care to share this, or even do it. I will not go ANY OTHER PLACE than Service Professor for my plumbing, HVAC and electrical needs. PERIOD. No one else compares!"

"Cam came to help me and my husband with a drain problem. He was kind, interested in understanding the concern, he explained the processes he was going through, and finally found the problem. It was resolved and at a reasonable price. We will definitely use East End Plumbing if we have this type of problem again. Thank you for helping!!"

Plumbing FAQs, answered by experts

DIY is not recommended for commercial settings due to safety and code compliance. Hire licensed professionals.

There are several indicators that your washing machine’s drain pump is bad, including incomplete cycles, water not draining, lack of spinning, a foul odor when the machine is running, and a loud grinding or buzzing noise when the pump is trying to move water down the drain.

Depending on the layout of your bathroom, you may be able to replace a shower valve without removing the tile. The existing hole needs to be large enough to remove your old valve and fit your new valve. If the hole is too small, you’ll need to cut into the wall and remove some of the tile.

Yes, because any trapped moisture can have a negative impact on the integrity of the wall or façade of the building. Per the 2015 International Residential Code and Commentary: “Weepholes shall be provided in the outside wythe of masonry walls at a maximum spacing of 33 inches (838 mm) on center. Weepholes shall be not less than 3/16 inch (5 mm) in diameter. Weepholes shall be located immediately above the flashing.”

The only downsides to hiring a master plumber is that they charge a higher hourly rate than a less experienced plumber. Plus, master plumbers likely have less availability, given the demand for highly experienced professionals. The benefits far outweigh the cons, though. Upsides include the following:

  • More professional repair

  • More experience fixing your specific issue

  • Recourse if something goes wrong

  • Warranty for the work (in some cases)

  • Some insulation from lawsuits if the plumber gets injured on your property
