"I have been trying for 2 years to get our fireplace fixed and could not find anyone to even come out and look at it. I saw an ad for Angi’s list and contacted them. They sent me 4 different companies that could do the work and, after checking the reviews, I selected RPF Construction. Robert contacted me immediately, came to the house, outlined everything he would do and gave me a price, which I agreed to. Robert and Tom came the next week with all of the parts that were needed. They started at 8:30 a.m and finished at 4:00 p.m. the same day. We have an airtight freestanding fireplace and they replaced all of the pipe, from the top of the fireplace, through the roof and all outside components. There was a leak in the roof that caused some rust and peeling paint on the firebox. They sanded it down and repainted it, where it stands, without getting paint on anything else. Even the silver screws they painted black. We are so happy with the excellent job that they did!!!"

In the firebox completely removed fire brick from back and both side walls. completely removed clay flue and replaced with insulated stainless steel. This included adding a lever operated lock top damper and stainless-steel exterior flue cap. Much time was spent adding chamber tech 2000 parge coating to the smoke chamber. Kevon and his two workers were excellent. All details on steps being taken were clearly explained. All carpeting was protected from the front door to the work area in the family room. All debris was removed from the job site. This was a big job that took two days to complete. Am following the recommended wait time and break in steps to be taken. The team was professional and they finished the work on time (the actual work took about two days). The cost was maybe a bit more pricey than the average, but the job was well done and without extra costs or surprises at the end."
