We were very happy with Home Care Chimney........He showed up on time, was VERY CLEAN and VERY PLEASANT........We would very highly recommend them!!!!

The inspector was very professional and helpful. The video inspection was really nice, he explained what he found and gave suggestions. My only problem was that the price was for an inspection and a sweep. Watching the video our chimney did not need to me swept but because he had a brush on top of the camera he told me that he swept it.

Excellent experience! Home Care is a very professional business and our concerns were handled courteously and promptly. An appointment for a thorough inspection of the exterior and interior of the chimney was arranged shortly after our first call. The compromised part of the chimney was protected with a tarpaulin which was attached so securely that it remained in place during this winter's high winds. Mr. Atchley met with us to discuss the problems. He presented options, listened to our preferences, and made additional recommendations. We received a detailed estimate shortly afterwards. The work was started on schedule and the work crew arrived on time each day, so we never had to wait for their arrival. The crew cleaned up each day, respecting our home and property through the removal of our old chimney and fireplace and installation of the new materials. We were kept informed during the process so we were always aware of the progress of the work and what would be done the next day. Our rebuilt chimney is of superior craftsmanship to the original. The new gas fireplace and tile surround looks amazing and is the focal point of our living room. Our house is warmer and quieter as a result of this project. We highly recommend the professionals at Home Care Chimney for maintenance, repair, and renovation of fireplaces and chimneys.

They cleaned the glass and logs off, and cleaned the outside vent but did not ascertain the cause for the unit quickly sooting up. Therefore, they did not resolve the problem at all. In hindsight, it looks like very little of their service is with gas fireplaces.

Good job, clean and neat. Price seemed ok, quoted me a price to add a Stainless Steel sleeve from the smoke box up. This seemed a bit high but I have nothing to compare it too!

Did a thorough inspection with multiple pictures of the inside of the fireplace chimney. Chimney was clean and recommended work that need to be done .

They were fantastic. His quote wasn't the lowest, but I am glad I hired him. Him and his associates were not a wasted effort. They knew exactly what to do, how to do it, and did a fantastic job. They would get a top grade. The price was less than some crazy people, so I would say it was a good price. They were good, professional people. They called back. They visited the home and took pictures first. They send them via email. They were real nice and efficient. Their punctuality was excellent. They were there when they said they were going to be there to start the job. They said they were going to be there at 8-8:30, and they were. I would absolutely use them again.

Perfect! The company sent a rep the same day I called and asked for an estimate. The rep was very thorough and explained the problem and options. I was provided an estimate by email within a couple of hours of the visit. I agreed to the price, the replacement cap was custom made, and the installation was done on time. The best part, the company rep, Tim, is top notch and very professional. I really felt that the company is honest and cares about the customer. 5 stars!!!

The team was careful to lay down tarps to protect our flooring. They were also responsive to our questions upon receiving the results of our chimney inspection.

Appreciated their honesty by not trying to sell me on anything that didn't need to be done.. My son-in-law had already looked at the problems and told me what I should expect would have to be done. Owner came to quote job, took picture & showed me what the problems were. Mike & Tim arrived on time and did a great job. After job was completed, before I paid them, they again took pictures and showed me what they had done. Area was left clean. In the past, when I've had other types of work quoted, people have tried to sell me on things that didn't need repair, so I appreciated not being taken advantage of. Would recommend them.

Very professional and clean. First inspection since the house was built, about 25 years ago. A camera found a problem with a gap at the lintel and we noticed pieces of a clay flue on the ground every spring. The lintel issue was from the builder and the clay flue was a cosmetic fake which commonly freezes and thaws,thus causing the issue. Both problems are scheduled to be fixed but have not been done.

The job went extremely well. Because it was a large and fairly complex job, the owner came out to look it over himself before completing the quote. He was extremely professional. He explained a number of options clearly. I understood the quote and the work to be done (which was not the case with another company that bid on the job). I told all the bidders that I was more interested in having the job done right than in saving the last nickel. The price was reasonable (that is, one other was noticeably higher). The team was at our home exactly when they said they would be. They did the work efficiently over four days, and kept the work area very clean over that time. Some of our neighbors, who are home during the day, commented on how professional and hard working the team was. Communication during the job was exactly what I want (and I'm demanding on this). The work looks terrific. There were no surprises on pricing. I asked them to come back to look at one thing, and they were back right away. In short, this is one of the best contractor experiences I've had, and I've had a lot of them. They were even nice to our dog.

The workers showed on time and got right to work. Very hard workers that took care to limit any damage to the lawn and shrubs.

As usual once the job was under way more problems were found that added to the bill. We were warned before the job began that repairs could cost more than the original estimate. It was not unreasonable considering the amount of work needed.

Upon finishing the work area was left clean and neat.

I would highly recommend this company and would have no problem using them again for chimney cleaning and maintenance.
