Direct the water toward a sanitary sewer drain that will take it to a treatment facility. Avoid storm drains, as the hot tub water will enter waterways and could hurt aquatic life.   • Make it a no-pet zone. Pet fur and dander can pose a cleaning issue, but it’s also not a great idea for your pet’s health and safety.
