They cleaned up every day and when the job was finished they wouldnt leave until they knew that we were perfectly happy with what they had done. We would hire them again in a heartbeat. "We hired Doug King of SMK Property Maintenance to complete our deck project. The work was originally scheduled to begin on October 14 but did not commence until November 4, and the project was not completed until December 10. What should have been a straightforward undertaking extended to nearly two months. During the process, we were advised to order the wrong product, which was subsequently installed and could not be returned. As a result, the deck?s initial appearance was unsatisfactory. There was lot of miscommunication between him and his contractors. We ended up with two different contractors and the second one completed To his credit, Doug corrected the issue by having the incorrect boards removed and replacing them with the proper materials. However, this required us to purchase the correct materials ourselves, further delaying the project. While the finished deck ultimately looks excellent, the overall experience was marked by significant frustration and avoidable setbacks. "

"poor work quality and workmanship, after project completed I was left with lots of small hidden issues and very unhappy. Exhaust Fan was not installed properly, just dangling in ceiling with no screws in it to secure (fan doesnt even align with air flow vent), electrical outlets loose, once you flip the switch the electrical box caved into wall, poor mud/paint job (did not sand down mud compound in many area's leaving imperfections over paint, also have an outside vent put in that completely fell out because they decided to only caulk the outside vent and not put in screws at all . Sam promised to come out and address but after 1 month of no show I gave up and ended up fixing all the issues myself . Consumers beware that they will cut corners if you don't check on it. Also will leave your house dirty, they only clean up after their tools , but will leave the mess they cause behind for you to clean yourself. I took and kept all pictures of the issues.. Once they have your money, you wont see them again"

"I contacted Mr Handyman from Angie's List around June 25th 2024. Mr Handy sent me a quote on June 26th for $3360 for 2men and 2days to complete the job of building a sunroom at my home. I excepted and scheduled a appointment for work to be done on July the 1st. Mr. Handyman called me on June the 28th to reschedule for July the 2 2024. They showed up on the 2nd worked 5 hours and come again on July 3 2024 worked for 8 hours. Job was still not completed. I called the company on July 8 2024 to find out about completed the job, I was told that someone would be out on July 10 2024 no one showed. I called the company around 9am on the 10th I was told that someone would be out to complete the job on July 11 2024. No one showed or called on July 11 2024. I called the company on July 12 2024 I spoke with the Owner and he said he would have someone out on July 15 2024 between 8-10am. The contractor came out on July 15 2024 worked 3 hours and told me that nothing could be done about the leak in the roof or the stripped door handle and missing screws. I called back to the company talked to the owner I offered to send photos of the job he refused to accepted. I have not talk to or received any call about rectifying to problem. I would like a refund of $1491 to hire another contractor. I do not trust this company to do the job correctly."
