"We loved our experience with Shiny Homes. We were in a tight schedule with me being 39 weeks pregnant and they were able to change their schedule to fit us in for a deep cleaning before babies arrival. They did a full house cleaning and it turned out looking so good. They were friendly and great to work with and made sure we were happy with everything before they left. Would recommend to others as well."

"Fantastic customer service. I was contacted within 15 minutes of submitting a request for a quote. Received an immediate appointment for gutter cleaning. Quality work at a reasonable price. We have a very tall home and Brandon had the proper equipment and expertise to complete the job thoroughly. Brandon is an overall great guy."

"Fabulous job! Punctual, courteous, very effective cleaners, friendly, and nonjudgmental. They cleaned everything I asked and more. They were considerate of our pet beagle too. My house needed deep cleaning; it just got away from me and I didn’t catch up. I’m glad I called Deep Dive Cleaning to the rescue! It was worth the money and I had peace about it. Call them. When they’re done, you will have a clean house, and it’ll smell clean, the floors will even shine, and you’ll feel good."

House Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Many housekeepers offer move-out cleaning services. However, your housekeeper is likely to charge a higher rate for this service since move-outs typically require more extensive deep cleaning than a standard housekeeping service.

No, house cleaners or cleaning services do not need to be certified or licensed. Each state has its own requirements for licensing and certifications for companies, but most states don't require any special training to clean a home. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local guidelines for house cleaners and cleaning services.

A mild skunk smell in your house can last up to three weeks, dissipating over time with proper ventilation. However, if you leave stronger smells untreated, they can last for months or years, becoming more difficult to remove the longer they sit. This is especially true of odors that have seeped into fabrics such as clothing or furniture or those in your pets’ fur.

Vinegar is an excellent cleaning ingredient for freezer parts and interior walls. Make a homemade cleaner with distilled white vinegar and warm water to thoroughly clean your freezer. It works well for cleaning up stubborn spills.

The cost of move-out cleaning averages $360 and can increase to $500, depending on the extent of the cleaning involved. The cost factors that vary move-out cleaning include home or apartment size, the level of cleaning, how many professionals it takes to clean, and the location. Add-ons include cleaning carpet, windows, fridge, oven, hardwood floors, tile and grout, garage, and junk removal.
