"First visit was not great cut, bill twice contract. I called the company and complained, was told I would get two guys for half an hour, coming to the $65 target. Biweekly service was contrac -ted but the team came in one week, charged $94. Neighbor complained about clumps of grass tossed on her lawn by worker. I called and told the agent that I wanted to stop all services immediately due to overcharging and failure to follow agreed costs. i WAS TOLD i HAD TO PAY $60 FOR EACH REMAINING SERVICE, FOR A TOTAL OF $600! NO NUMBER OF SERVICES WAS EVER CONTRACTED, BUT SPEEDY CLEANS IMMEDIATELY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD THE $600."

Home Pride Cleaning takes pride in helping families be able to make more time for their loved ones by coming into your home and taking away the burden of cleaning!

"My mother passed away in March 2022 and we hired Home Pride (out of Union City, MI) to clean her house. We were charged $900. It was the worst job of cleaning I have ever seen. They used a vacuum that didn't pick up well at all. A friend of ours brought a vacuum to re-vacuum the carpet and we had to empty it every five square feet. They didn't even pull out the chair from the desk and vacuuming there. They didn't not use hose from vacuum to clean along the floor boards. We asked them to clean the outside of kitchen cupboards and they were not cleaned well at all. We called them to complain about the terrible job they had done. They came back and still didn't do a good job. I would never hire them again. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I talked to a friend of mine, as she recently had her house cleaned. She was charged $350 and said the house was immaculate. We wasted $900. Don't ever hire this group. You will be throwing your money away."

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. Moisten a microfiber mop and wring it out until it’s just damp, or use a pH-neutral cleaner, as this will prevent damage to the bamboo fibers. Avoid harsh chemicals, like traditional floor cleaners. After cleaning, wipe the floor dry.

If you’re doing regular cleaning—like vacuuming and mopping—once every two weeks, then call in a professional floor cleaner about twice per year to complete a deep clean. A deep clean service includes cleaning the grout between tiles, removing stains from carpets, and addressing water spots or other discoloration on wood floors. You may want to consider getting your floors professionally cleaned more often if you have children or pets that leave messes. In those cases, once per quarter or even more frequently is probably a better option.
