Powers Bath

Dan Power came out and within 15 minutes , the job was completed @ no cost to me.  Love, Love, Love my shower by Powers Bath!

The new shower looks great.  It is larger and deeper than the old one piece unit.

We are satisfied with the end result- both showers look great.
I specifically looked for someone who understood the quirks and uneveness of old houses.
I took photos of the floor models I ordered (highly recommend).
We had two new showers installed, one old bathtub removed. Mr. Powers said the shower could be a few inches longer at no extra charge. They worked diligently to make sure the floor was evened up.
      When the flooring started going in, I wasn't keen on the looks, it was not what I ordered, and was reassured it would look better finished. Then I noticed the stable showerhead was not installed, just the hand-held. I took a day to see if I could live with it; we were not satisfied with the way it looked, wanted the sturdiness of a pan flooring, not pieced together sides glued onto flat floor piece. 
Since it was soon to be Christmas, we agreed to wait until January.  Mr. Powers was not happy with me, he said that the floor I ordered was too small for the larger shower that he suggested- he did not tell me that it would change the flooring.
It was an uncomfortable negotiation.
The flooring was replaced (necessitating tearing out walls and re-doing), the shower doors I ordered replaced the ones installed, and I decided to stick with the one shower head, because it seemed too wasteful to have the plumbing redone as well. That has turned out fine. When Mr. Powers returned to do last finish clear caulking, he added a piece to door run to help stabilize wobbly sliding glass doors.
In the end, we were relieved and quite happy with the results. I am glad I took photos of the model to prove what I ordered. Both of the gentlemen who worked here, the owner and work partner, were easy to have here, worked hard, always cleaned up after a day's work. They are men of integrity.
The showerheads are quality. The smaller shower is solid, love the spot proof glass. I'd like the bigger shower doors to be heavier, sturdier. The wall covering and shower caddies are great. I appreciated Mr. Powers working with me to get the showers I wanted.
I would recommend Powers Bath.

They were excellent. They came when they said they were going to come and they completed the work when they said they were going to complete it.

The Powers team is great to work with, I was given explanations for everything being done .  I would never hesitate to employ Dan and his crew in the future.

Our house had an addition which went through our  bathroom; which made our floor in bathroom uneven.  The contract was to level bathroom floor. I brought to their attention when I noticed them applying cement to my bathroom floor my concerns and they assured me it would be level and support a "Harley Bike". They have been good about coming out several time in an attempt to repair cracks and their last visit they dropped off five pounds of grout mixture and told us how to apply.

They were very good. They were on time and did an excellent work.

The work itself is excellent and I am extremely pleased with the Powers System results.  Because I had to call a couple of times to see about scheduling, I gave a B on responsiveness.  No doubt the popularity of the construction and number of jobs can delay installation dates. The remodeler who performed the work was exceptionally precise, punctual, and professional. I couldn't be happier with my two new baths, one which required some extra carpentry.

Outstanding.  Dan was great.  Product was a perfect match for our unusual 1965 cast iron tub.  Surround options were great.  Intallation was done exceedingly well in less time than projected

Very good - Dan listens to what  you want, comes up with ideas to meet the goal, is flexible and keeps to the projected schedule and budget without surprises.  His follow through on his work is especially noteworthy.

Main bathroom: base boards were not put back on. 2nd bathroom: Vent fan in bathroom was not vented properly which caused mildew all over the ceiling, which remains.   The plumbing in the 2nd bathroom has was not angled properly causing the waste water and toilet paper to backed up which damaged the finished basement ceiling. The 2nd bathroom shower is no longer used. The toiIet is rarely used. I would not recommend Powers to anyone.The actual cost is estimated.

From start to finish we were pleased with their communication, politeness, punctuality, and the quality of the work.  They were also careful to not to track in dirt.  They finished on time.  Also they were diligent in following up on the few things that we called them about after the job was completed and we were totally satisfied with the final result.

.They came to fix a job which another company messed up. The company that we first used was going bankrupt and they had messed up this job. So we had POWERS BATH SYSTEMS come out and he actually helped us quite a bit. They took pictures of the bad workmanship and offered to help us out with it. I don’t think very many company would have done that because of legal issues.  POWERS BATH SYSTEMS did very well for us.  I would use them again.  They were on time, they were professional and punctual. The materials were not theirs they were just fixing what the other company did not do.  They were able to fix the mess the other company left behind.

I was pleased at the time with the work performed and the time frame to accomplish the job. The room looks nice. However, now 2 years later, the caulking around the new tub unit is coming off. They also installed a new floor in the bathroom. The toilet is now leaking around the base. We called a plumber on a Sunday. He found out that the Powers installer did not use the correct wax ring. Since a subfloor and new flooring was put in, supports and a correct wax ring should have been installed. It was not done and the repair cost us $150.

The initial sales visit was very helpful as the salesman was able to show us what our various choices would look like on his computer. We did not feel any pressure. The salesman was also able to provide us many references. All those that we called were very positive about the services they received. The workman was very professional and pleasant. He showed up on time and was very careful to cover his walkway in and out so that no dirt was tracked in. The job was finished on time and looked great. After he was done, we found a couple of things we wanted to be changed and he came back and corrected them to our satisfaction.

WE VISITED THE SHOW ROOM ON PORTAGE ROAD. MR POWERS CAME TO THE HOUSE TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE AND TELL US OUR OPTIONS. WE PLACE THE ORDER AT THE SHOW ROOM AND SET UP A DATE FOR INSTALLATION. THE WORK MEN WERE AT OUR HOUSE AT THE SELECTED TIME AND FINISHED THE ENTIRE INSTALLATION IN TWO AND A HALF DAYS TIME. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL WHILE IN OUR HOME.
