"Michelle at Premier did a great job of educating me on how to care for my 20+-year-old leather coat, on what needed to be done to renew it, and cleaned it so it was almost like new. She also took over cleaning a fine Italian wool jacket I sent her, and even found buttons to replace ones on the sleeve that had fallen off She's professional, prompt, and gets the job done! I have no worries when I send my clothes to her in Calif from Wyoming (because we have no comparable specialty cleaners here)."

"Actually I was a little nervous about using Johnson's, but once I talked to Mr Johnson and he reassured me of his work, I decided to give him a try and I am glad I did. He did a very good job on my sofa and love seat. The color is a off white and I had never had it cleaned before. By the time he had finished, it looked like new again. I am very pleased with his worked. Thank you very much for recommending him to me."

Mattress Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Pros offer comprehensive cleaning that addresses areas you might overlook, ensuring an immaculate home.

This depends on the type of paint you used in the first place. For oil-based paints, the fastest way to clean the walls is to mix a solution in a bucket of warm water, one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and a ½ teaspoon of distilled white vinegar. Use a microfiber cloth to wipe the walls down.

For latex-based paints, try to avoid water as much as possible. Instead, go the dry cleaning route and start with a vacuum. You’d be surprised how well a powerful vacuum can work on walls. After that, go in with a dry sponge.

Professional cleaning costs range from $150 to $500, depending on room size, ceiling height, and type of dirt or stains removed. Deep cleaning, especially for textured or popcorn ceilings, may increase costs.

For most households, you should wash your walls at least twice a year to keep them clean and beautiful. However, you may need to clean them more often if you live in a high-pollen area, have excess dust and dirt, or have children or pets. In these cases, it's a good idea to monitor your walls weekly and clean them as needed. You can wash your walls with a gentle cleaner and water without damaging the finish. Regularly washing away dirt, stains, and grime will brighten your space, keep your home clean, extend the lifespan of the wall's finish, and make future cleanings easier.

Venetian plaster is easy to clean and maintain, especially if it's properly sealed with a wax top coat. To clean the wall or remove scuffs and stains, you can simply wipe it down with a damp rag, water, and mild soap. If the plaster cracks, chips, or becomes damaged, you can often patch the specific area with a fresh layer of Venetian plaster rather than having to replaster the entire wall.
