"We had new countertops and a sink installed in April 2024 through Costco, with MKD handling the installation. We paid over $6,500 for the job. Just 14 months later, we walked into our kitchen to find the sink had completely fallen?due to failed adhesive and the fact that MKD never used the mounting clips that came with the sink. I contacted MKD and sent photos as requested. Days went by with no response. When I followed up, they admitted they had ?overlooked? the photos and promised to call back that afternoon. They never did. After another follow-up, they informed me the installation was only covered under a one-year warranty and that I would need to pay a $500 service fee just to have the sink reattached. Our sink is now literally being held up by 2x4s. This issue could have been avoided with proper installation and could easily be resolved with a quick visit but MKD refuses to take responsibility. Their carpenter built custom doors for the previously unfinished and irregular entrance and they are of very good quality down to the hardware.
