They matched the brushed satin color and tried to find a larger part that would cover the rust to look nicer. A larger part was not to be found so a lot of caulking was done. No leaks as of install. "At 10 pm on a Saturday we had a pipe from an upstairs bathroom burst in the ceiling of our kitchen. I had used Local Plumbing and Drain before for a long list of jobs. So I called just to leave a message, so I could schedule Joe (owner) to fix my issue. Within 10 minutes I received a return call and Joe offered to come to repair the pipe then. I assured him that I had shut off the water and that it could wait, so we scheduled the service for the next morning. Very happy with the service and the price!

"We contracted with JAM Home Services (Jeff) to repair and paint walls, ceilings and closets in the living/dining room and 3 bedrooms of our house. We also asked about installing base board where missing/damaged and also installing shoe molding in all rooms (we had just had carpeting removed and hardwood floors refinished), While his was not lowest estimate for the project, we were impressed with his knowledge, suggestions for successful completion and his professionalism. At our request, he suggested several colors that would work with the hardwood floors. We agreed on a start date, which had to be firm, to meet a specific timeline to place our house on the market. A week before start date, he checked in with us to be sure we still on schedule. As it happened, other projects were already completed, so he started a week earlier than planned and completed the project withing the 4 days he had originally estimated. We could not have been more pleased with the result! Each day, the work space was cleared and cleaned, except for drop cloths left to protect floors. He repaired a baseball-sized hole in the wall in one bedroom, repaired a crack in the plaster above a door in the living room, filled all nail holes. The paint on all ceilings, wall and closets was smooth and even - no messy corners or bleeding edges. The new base boards and and shoe molding were such great enhancements to the rooms.
