"They responded quickly. Through in what they did and gave me options. I thought the price they charged to remove and install a toilet was high but I would rate everything else 5 stars"

"Micah was terrific! He found the problem immediately and figured out where the water turn-off for the house was even tho' I had forgotten. He is very focused, very pleasant, very committed to what he does. He had to go to two places to get a part and did so even tho' it was the time when most workers would have said, "I have to go home to dinner now." He was a God-send to contain a day long leak. Would most certainly hire him again!"

"We had a leak and drainage issues with our sump pump in the basement, leaks from the main pipe coking from the toilet, and our bathroom sinks would not drain. Jason and his Plumbing 911 team quickly fixed the issues in a professional and expedient manner. Truly grateful. Will hire again."

"He was responsible and pleasant, but overcharged me, I felt, because he came twice to fix a problem I had. I felt he misdiagnosed the problem even though I told him that when I pushed down on the plunger it stopped running. He had a part in his truck to fix what he thought was the problem, but when the problem continued he came back the second time to fix the actual problem. I felt I could have easily replaced it with a new toilet for that cost. I'm willing to pay once for a $85 house call, but to charge me twice when I felt I had tipped him off as to the situation and he went another direction, he should have just charged me for the part only."

"I contacted Steve to see if he could assist with installing a new bathroom vanity. It seemed to me that the drain pipe and water lines would need rerouted. Steve came out and provided a verbal estimate and a date for return. Upon return we also noticed a leak from the toilet drain pipe. Steve was able to complete the work on the sink but needed to return the following day to repair the toilet. As the toilet was old he recommended to replace it, which we did.

Toilets questions, answered by experts

If your toilet is still leaking after replacing the toilet flapper, then you may not have installed the toilet flapper correctly. Double-check that you have placed the flapper over the overflow tube correctly, and check the flapper chain is at the right length. If your toilet is still leaking, then you may have another problem on hand. For example, you may need to replace the toilet wax ring or replace the toilet fill valve if your toilet is wobbly and leaking from around the base.

Installation typically takes 1-2 hours. Repairs may require additional time, depending on the issue.

Whether or not a power-flush toilet is worth it depends on your toilet needs and your budget. If your bathroom sees a lot of use or you’re concerned about the toilet clogging, then a power-flush toilet may be the right choice. You should also check the pressure requirements to make sure your system can handle the necessary requirements.

Small bathroom renovation costs don’t have to break the bank. A $5,000 budget is realistic, provided you're not adding luxurious fittings or making complex layout changes. Changing the layout is the most costly aspect of renovating a bathroom. So if you keep the layout, do some of the job DIY (within your skillset), and use relatively affordable fixtures and accessories, you should be able to stay within your budget.

Some of the most common bathroom leaks include showers, sinks, and toilets. Most homeowners discover these leaks because of the chronic dripping sound faucets and showers make as water drips to the ground, but a leaky toilet will often appear as a puddle. Inspect your bathroom faucets, showers, and toilets every month to detect leaks quickly.
