I chose to go with HomeSpec based upon reviews from Angie's List and other online resources. My home is small so the job only took two days to complete. The crew that did the job was lead by Ryan Loop and his crew did an excellent job! They filled three cracks in the foundation walls, and installed a new perimeter drainage system using PVC drain pipe and a sump pump. Prior to the install I had some questions that were answered to my satisfaction by Scott. While the work was being done Ryan answered some more questions I had about the sump pump system as I have never lived in a home that has had a sump pump. I am very pleased with the finished work. When Ryan's crew put in new cement in the basement where the floor had been removed, they did an excellent job in finishing the cement to a level and smooth surface."

It cost $9K to drill troughs, enlarge sump with 2 separate drain lines through foundation 10â into yard, battery backup and alarm in my 8x8 crawl space/Michigan basement. "Salesperson was overconfident and slightly pushy. They had to push back our project over 2 weeks after it was scheduled. They cut down many shrubs and left the mess for us to clean up and dispose of. We were told they would cover all of our belongings prior to starting. They only covered about 1/3 of the items in the basement and everything that wasn't covered was left a mess. The installers did not complete the entire project in the way we were told it would be done. Still waiting for Spring to make sure the basement doesn't leak, may revise my review after ensuring it is truly water proofed."
