"Josh came out to give me an estimate for my deck as well as my son's deck. He was very friendly and professional. I had some questions about the stain/sealant. His responses reflected his expertise. He sent Rich out within a week as promised to clean both decks (mine and my son's). Rich was friendly and did an excellent job getting both decks cleaned and ready for staining. Trim was not prepped, just painted over.
Do not use the carpenter they recommend.
I have used Hillis Brothers before and Nate is very responsive. There was a young man who was the site supervisor who seemed to care less when I pointed out my concerns.
To be fair, it was a very rainy summer and they were trying to fit in the work in between storms.
