We had a water line and shower faucet freeze and break during an extreme cold snap. Brian's responded quickly and repaired both items quickly without charging us an arm and a leg to get this "emergency" repair completed.

They were very prompt. My experience has been very good so far. The price is a little lower than everyone else. They wrote the estimate up very professionally. He stated what repairs were needed and how much each would cost.

They seemed non-reliable and dishonest. They price was ridiculous and charged me $300 to just replace a small part. I didn’t feel it was necessary to spend so much for a leak. He then tried to urge me to do some more work saying I needed to have the plumbing done under the sink and have those...

Sink Repair questions, answered by experts

When installing an undermount kitchen sink in a granite countertop, use 100% silicone to secure the basin. If you’re worried your sink is too heavy, speak with a countertop professional about how to adhere the sink to the countertop without worrying about issues down the road. Sagging undermount sinks can be a common plumbing problem if they’re not properly adhered, so always make sure you’re using a high-quality material.

Depending on the issue and materials, costs range from $150 to $500.

Undermount sinks have clips that attach to the countertop, but they have pros and cons. They are heavier than drop-in sinks, so they only work with sturdy countertops like natural stone and are a more expensive option. You might need someone to help you install the sink, depending on its weight.

In many ways they are the same thing, which is a large sink that has a tall front section, often called an apron. This is because the depth of the sink prevents splashing against you, serving the same purpose as an apron. While all farmhouse sinks are apron sinks, not all apron sinks are farmhouse sinks.

The best option is to alter the plumbing. Moving and centering the drain pipe behind the sink usually does the trick and creates the sleek, minimalist look that pedestal sinks offer. If you don’t want to do any plumbing work, there are a few decorating hacks:

Painting the pipes
Placing shelves, plants, or baskets in front of the pipes
Adding a sink skirt
