"These guys were awesome and great to work with. They did an excellent job with the small odd jobs I needed done such as hanging trim, finishing the back of my island, putting on my toe kick, hanging and finishing a bit of dry wall. They were always in communication and came in at their quoted budget. I would recommend them for any type of job and will be reaching out to them for future jobs."

Small jobs welcome

"Some of the work I needed done was painting of 3 exterior entry doors, but the weather wasn't feasible 2 do in November. Those would need 2 be done next year in warmer weather. He did get the 12' of trim that needed 2 be replaced completed. The door he made out plywood 2 block off the upstairs from the main floor works. The plywood was warped. I didn't ask 4 anything fancy and that is what I got. The hinges and door closure are fine and work properly. James did some work on 1 of my 2 dogs kennel. He reinforced 2 sides of kennel with extra bracing 2 ensure the dog can't get out. James did a great job on this! James was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable on the work that was done. I would use his handyman skills again. I've attached pictures of the door and the kennel work. Thank u."

"Shelby communicates clearly and pleasantly. She is professional and friendly. She did a deep cottage cleaning for us initially with follow up cleanings that have resulted in the cottage looking better than it ever has. As well because of her extensive background and experience, Shelby is also able to provide valuable advice, recommendations, and other services."

"Many construction workers/owners don't have the best people skills, Anthony is a very profession, and caring individual, who's customer service skills are top notch. Look every construction job has its headaches, and glitches to it, and he remained very profession, honest, and truthful thru the entire project. When things did not go as planned, he listened, and made it as right as it could be. He knows his limitations, and is honest. I would definitely recommend him and hire him again for the right project! Our project was right at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, so I can't really attest on him being timely, since we had to shut down as soon as he started. Just can say he completed all the tasks that we discussed in our contract, and completed them as close to my satisfication as he could. Please meet with him and discuss your project. I truly believe you won't be sorry. If you honor customer service, and honesty he is the right person to hire!!!"

Handyman Services questions, answered by experts

Whether or not you’re moving the hookups or simply replacing your current units, you should hire a qualified appliance pro to install your new washer and dryer.

While handypeople do not need to be licensed in many places, you should only hire insured pros for any home improvement work. Your handyperson should have active liability coverage that protects them and you in the case of an error or accident. Furthermore, if they have employees on your property, they should also have workers’ compensation insurance. If you hire an individual or a company that is not insured and they damage your property, have an accident while on the job, or become injured on your property without insurance, you can be held financially liable.

Absolutely, they tailor their approach to address individual requirements, ensuring satisfaction on every visit.

A handyperson is the professional term used to describe professional fixers who can tackle a wide range of general home repairs. Some pros may prefer to use the term handyworker, handyman, or handywoman, so we recommend politely asking your pro how they would like you to identify them during the project.

Whether a scullery is worth it depends on how much you like to cook and entertain. If you frequently host gatherings—a scullery is likely worth the money. If you’re looking for ROI, it’s not so clear. It may not add significant value to your home, as it doesn’t increase square footage and may repurpose space that a buyer would have preferred to remain as-is (like a laundry room).
