"Andrew came to our house between Ann Arbor and Plymouth at 8 PM on Tuesday when a storm caused an electrical outage. We had a generator but we're only getting partial power in the house. Andrew ran tests inside the house, determining that not enough power was coming into the house. He then started testing different areas of the generator until he found the part not working. Once he located the problem, he quickly fixed it. Because he didn't give up on me or my problem, he restored electricity, saving me hundreds from food spoilage in a refrigerator and freezer. I don't think most electricians would have stuck with the problem or been able or willing to fix the generator. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would."

"We hired Lighthouse Electrical to install a generator interlock kit for our house and am very impressed at how smooth everything went. They were the cheapest out of 5 quotes, but didn't cut any corners. Corey came out on site for a quote which added comfort that he won't try to extra bill us once the work was to be done, and we got the install scheduled within a week from calling. Christian came out to do the install and once everything was complete he vacuumed up and walked me through how to use the switch. As a cherry on top, they didn't add a surcharge for paying by credit. I couldn't be happier with the experience."

"Excellent work. Installed a new panel, installed all new lines outside leading into the house, installed a new generator plug, dryer and range plugs, and an EV plug. All done in a day and a half! Professional team, kind and courteous. Highly recommended!"

"I regularly and highly recommend Don's Electric to anyone who is looking for top-notch electricians and outstanding people to work with. Don's Electric is a well-run company that provides superb service. The Gabbard family is the best! For example, last week we had a lengthy power outage, and (through no fault whatsoever of Don’s Electric) the engine in our back-up generator died, requiring replacement. With no replacement engine immediately available, Don's Electric was quick to the rescue; within a few hours, the Gabbards had installed a portable generator for use during the balance of the outage. (By the way, Don’s Electric previously replaced my outdated electrical service promptly, professionally, and at a very competitive price.) Thank you, Don's Electric!"

"John is awesome. I needed a generator transfer switch installed before the ice storm hit. He came out on short notice and installed it as the ice storm started. Highly recommend John for electrical work and will use him for any future electrical needs on the farm."
