"Cesar and his team did quality professional work on our barn, front porch and decorative wood trim above our older home's windows. After trying for over a year to find someone to follow through on their word to help us, Cesar's team were the ones to get the job done and done well. We had 3 to 4 other Painters come out to give us quotes last year but then we never heard back from them. I was drawn to L.A. Painters after seeing they had painted older homes with decorative woodwork and multiple colors. They did exactly what we wanted done and even helped fix some trim and woodwork along the way! Cesar was present himself throughout the job to ensure it was being done right by his team and he also made sure we were happy with the colors and how things were looking. He is a genuine person who cares about doing the best job they can. We are very happy with how it turned out and would highly recommend Cesar and his crew with L.A. Painters!"

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

There are more pros than cons when staining a deck. Deck stain is more affordable than paint, it protects the wood and allows the natural textures to shine through, and it can revive the appearance of your home. However, deck stain also requires prep work (sometimes days or more), carries more upkeep than a painted deck, and can fade over time if not cared for.

Yes, they provide design insights that enhance space utility and visual appeal.

Most gutter painting pros also specialize in complete home exterior painting. You may save by making your gutter painting part of the cost to paint the exterior of a house in its entirety. Many people have all parts of their home exterior painted simultaneously to keep everything looking equally fresh. Consider having walls, trim, porches, shutters, and doors painted as well.

The number of coats you need to apply when whitewashing a surface depends on how opaque you want the final product to be. If you're going for a transparent, barely there look, a single coat or two may suffice. For fuller coverage, you'll want to use multiple coats. Another option is to use a less diluted paint to get a thicker coverage.

While the answer varies based on weather, 10 a.m. is a good time to start painting. The dew will have dried, meaning there’s no moisture on the house, and the temperature will likely be moderate and the sunlight less direct. Starting mid-morning should also give you enough daylight and pleasant weather to work on the job for several hours.
