"They did an excellent job.  Jim was great to work with.  He was very thorough, conscientious, experienced, and professional.  The quality of the work was very good and we are delighted with the finished product.  Jim has good relationships with talented carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians that he was able to schedule at just the right times, so that the work was done as planned and on time.  Jim is an honest person, who communicates well, and is very easy to work with.  This was our vacation house, so we weren't there while much of the work was being done.  However, we knew we could trust Jim and his workmen, so it was relatively stress-free.  I would recommend New Image Remodeling without reservation.

There are few things more annoying than trying to fall asleep only to be woken up by the sound of a dripping faucet. If the faucet drips when the water is off, it probably has a loose or damaged seat washer. The screw gets loose from repeated use, making the faucet drip. With outdoor faucets, this is more common in the summer when people are using it more often to water the garden or cool off. Disassembling the faucet and tightening or replacing the seat washer and screw can get the dripping to stop.

There are several reasons a shower could lose pressure, including clogs in your showerhead, leaks, corrosion in your pipes, or faulty components like a shower valve or shower diverter. Issues with your water heater or water pressure regulator can also cause a drop in pressure, so it’s important to hire a licensed pro to diagnose the problem.

Sometimes when a pipe bursts in a house, it makes a clang or popping noise; however, that doesn’t mean you’ll hear it. Newer pipes tend to be quieter than older pipes. Plus, a pipe can easily burst out of earshot, especially if it’s a floor or two away from you. 

If you do hear an unusual popping noise, consider hiring a plumber to inspect your pipes. Most of the time, you’re more likely to notice a burst pipe either from a visible leak or because water won’t run out of your tap properly.

To bleed air from the pipes, start by turning off the main water supply. Then, starting with the faucet that’s closest to the water valve, open each of your faucets halfway, making sure to open both hot and cold options if they’re separate. This allows the air to escape the pipes. Once all faucets are open, turn your water supply back on and let the water run for 10 to 15 minutes until the faucets stop sputtering.

You can fill your hot tub with a bucket, but it will take a long time, and the water won’t run through a prefilter. Look at it this way. If you need 700 gallons to fill the hot tub and you have a 5-gallon bucket, it will require 140 buckets to fill the hot tub.
