Small jobs welcome

"Melissa from Mrs. Clean Cleaning does a fabulous job. She has been cleaning my house since last September and I have always been happy with the results. I recently had her clean my windows in addition to a regular cleaning and she did a fabulous job, cleaning my windows and sills. I would highly recommend her."

"Iâ ve been using them since the begging, hard workers, honest, and fair with price. They clean our house every other week, and its work is just 5 starts. Also they power wash the out side of our house once a year. I highly recommend."

"Claudia did a great job cleaning my house before I moved into it. She was quick to get to my house and got to work. She even cleaned the burnt on grease from the glass oven door! She saved me a lot of time though I wish the price wasn’t so high, but I considered that to be a last minute fee. She did great and would recommend her for cleaning before you move into your new home."

"Chris was fantastic to work with! He was easy to communicate with, flexible on the appointment time, professional in his approach to the job, and extremely pleasant. I’ll be hiring him again for other jobs needing to be done at my house! I strongly recommend him as a contractor."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

In most cases, it is best to leave icicles on your roof and allow them to melt naturally. You should only remove them if they are heavy enough to cause damage to your home or pose a safety risk to people below. Attempting to remove icicles yourself can be dangerous, so if you are concerned about immediate damage, it is recommended to hire a professional. To prevent icicles from recurring, you should address the underlying cause, which is often poor insulation. Long-term solutions include improving your home's insulation or installing roof heating coils.

It is not advisable to use salt on your roof to prevent or remove ice dams. It’s not only mostly ineffective but can also cause serious damage to your roof itself. Salt can rust metal, damage masonry, pit shingles, and cause runoff that’s damaging to plants and animals.

To prolong the lifespan of a slate roof, perform regular maintenance. This includes conducting annual inspections to check for damaged or broken tiles and addressing any minor issues promptly. Clean the gutters regularly, remove any overhanging tree branches, and ensure the flashing remains intact to prevent leaks. For comprehensive care, consider scheduling periodic professional inspections.

Regular cleaning, inspecting for peeling or rust, and reapplying coatings every 8-12 years helps maintain durability.

Chemical herbicides will kill moss permanently. The same goes with bleach water. However, moss can start growing again once a new layer of dirt and debris is caught in your sand in paver joints. Therefore, the problem is not about killing moss permanently, but ensuring effective prevention of moss regrowth.
