"L&B Services did a tear down and rebuild of an old deck. They really know how to build a solid deck with poured cement footings, sauna tubes, and sturdy lumber. Bob was very good at keeping us informed of the work to be done and the timeline. The deck was done on time. It is a large deck (30x12) with 3 sets of stairs, dog gates, and skirting. The end result was a sturdy deck that will last for decades. Very easy and personable group to work with."

Hello,\n\nMy name is Adam. \n\nI just started my own LLC doing carpentry. I’ve done carpentry throughout my life, and professionally for three years. I have also worked as a fireman, and rock climbing guide, a painter, and a cobbler. I enjoy using really big saws (of all kinds, chainsaws included) and working with big pieces of timber. "Work agreed to: 1) level a slope, 2) build stone patio, 3) install fence. Period of performance told by the contractor was 5 days to a week and a half. Work started May 16. By June 3 project was not half complete. Contractor delivered pile of dirt and pile of gravel and railroad ties for retaining walls. Contractor did some work. If reasons given were accurate, then some missing days for medial were reasonable but after three weeks there were several issues: 1) the work was only about halfway complete after three weeks, 2) the slope remained which can't be used since it's needed for a shed, bee hives, and raised beds, 3) the rear retaining wall was already leaning and losing dirt from only one rain. With these concerns I consulted two other landscapers who immediately identified problems with the wall as well as the slope, that it would not hold through one winter. In addition, contractor may not have contacted Digsafe, public utilities, and city public works for permission to proceed with any excavation. I have a lot more details including inconsistent texts"

"The new shed was good quality.  I love it, and the value was decent.  John, the owner, is a very professional person, and he knows how to make sheds.  The only issue that I had was I was told by their scheduling department that someone would call me, repeatedly, and it never happened.  I probably had to be on the phone with the company 7 times before appropriate appointments were scheduled.  Granted, they had to time the teardown before the new shed was built, but it should be easier to do than it was in my experience. One day, they were scheduled to come and build it, but there was no shed.  They rescheduled and did it a week later, so it was okay.  
John seemed to be overall concerned about the quality of the job, and customer feedback.  John personally showed up to tear down my old shed, with his employee, once the job had been postponed a few times. When the builders forgot to install my solar light, he showed up personally to install it.  That shows dedication to customer service and satisfaction.
Overall, the experience wasn't bad.  The new shed is excellent, and I am happy I had it done.
