"Insul-Kings is wonderful to work with. They called in the morning to narrow the arrival time, which is very considerate. Nate and his crew arrived on time and CRANKED like a well oiled machine. I have a 4' crawl space. You can barely crouch. No problem! That's why God invented knee pads. They foamed and installed the insulation like it was their own home. It was a work of art. and came out better than I imagined. They patiently indulged my "old man" inquisitiveness. The crew represented Insul-Kings very well. I highly recommend them. This was done through the Mass Save program. So the $2100 job only cost me about $500.00"

We specialize in all types of roofing, be it repair or replacement. We also do alot of vinyl siding installation. Insulation and weatherization is a large part of our business also. We have five to nine people, including the owner, Mike, on the workforce. We do not use sub-contractors at all. Every bit of work is done by us and the owner is always at the jobsite. Mike Norris, the owner, while a lifelong resident of Maine, has a roofing contractor license from the State of Florida. Maine,at this time does not require roofers to be licensed. We adhere to the very strict standards that Mike had to learn to aquire that license. We are happy to supply any customer with a free written proposal of their job request complete with a discription of the work and a firm price. Please give us a call for your home improvement needs. Radiant barriers and insulation serve different purposes, so one is not inherently better than the other. Radiant barriers reflect radiant heat, helping keep spaces cool, especially in hot climates, while insulation slows heat transfer through conduction. For optimal energy efficiency, it’s best to use both together. 

Radiant barriers can enhance the performance of insulation by preventing heat gain in the summer and heat loss in the winter. The choice between them depends on specific climate conditions and the building’s design requirements.

Interior walls don't require insulation. However, there are a couple of reasons you may consider adding it in some situations. Insulation in interior walls is excellent for sound-dampening between rooms and can help maintain a regulated temperature in insulated rooms by lowering the heat transfer between adjacent areas of the home.

Glass fibers are often used in HEPA filters because of their high efficiency, durability, and thermal stability. Some HEPA filters are made with synthetic fibers, but they may not be as effective.
