"Kevin showed up the day we called to give us an estimate.  He was very forthcoming and honest, even told us what trees he "wouldn't worry about" had it been his property.  Gave us an estimate as well as a breakdown of what each part of the procedure would look like (both in cost, and on the property).
He quoted us a timeframe, and was able to arrive and do the work sooner than expected.  The work was very impressive, as was the pricing.  Couldn't be much happier.  His services were recommended to my by a co-worker, and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of an arborist.

"What an amazing experience! Ray paid attention to every detail and when he had a question he wasn't afraid to ask. My property was a wee bit out of control. He brought it back to enjoyable again. He trimmed trees and bushes as well. I recommend him to anyone and everyone! Rates are reasonable and Ray is a pleasure to work with."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

There are organic herbicide options that will kill grass but not flowers, including white vinegar or a dish soap solution. Commercial selective herbicides can also target grass over other plants, but read the instructions carefully to avoid damaging your garden. Herbicides that kill grass but not flowers usually include ingredients like clethodim and sethoxydim. Otherwise, your best bet will be to weed by hand.

Technically, dandelions aren’t bad for your lawn, and they don’t directly kill grass. In fact, they appear in areas that are nutrient-deprived, and their long taproots can loosen the soil and bring nutrients closer to the surface.

However, dandelions do spread quickly, and they can take over your lawn, eventually crowding out grass. This is why a healthy lawn is the best defense against dandelions.

Mowing your grass regularly, especially if you’re mowing close to the ground, can help kill Johnsongrass. Frequent mowing helps limit the spread of Johnsongrass and can even deplete carbohydrate reserves in rhizomes over time. The more time you leave in between mowing, the more likely Johnsongrass is to regrow and take over your lawn.

The fastest ways to kill weeds and unwanted grass include burning them, pouring boiling water on them, or pulling them out by hand, as these methods work almost instantaneously. For a quick-acting solution that works within a few hours, you can use a commercial-grade herbicide like glyphosate or a DIY vinegar, salt, and dish soap mixture. While effective, be aware that commercial herbicides introduce chemicals into your lawn. The slowest method for killing weeds is to starve them of sunlight and nutrients using mulch or fabric covers.

It usually takes between two weeks and a month for weeds to fully die off after you spray them with herbicide, but they will start to wilt within the first week. Different weed sprays produce different results, with some working more quickly and effectively than others. Similarly, some weeds are killed more easily than others. Consult your weed removal pro for an exact timeline based on their weed removal method.
