About us
Greater Portland Electric was founded in 2020 after a decade and a half of building and running a company with 20+ technicians in the field at its peak. The cost inherent with overhead coupled with the inability to personally ensure a product second to none from inception to completion ultimately culminated in the sale of that company and the formation of a Greater Portland Electric. The belief that profit and honest business dealings could co-exist created our core priciples of honesty, integrity and transparency became our guiding light. This equates to communication 2nd to none, the highest level of craftmanship performed with efficiency, a transparent pricing policy and a commitment to treat your home or business like it is our own. With recent demand exceeding supply we have shifted from doing work for builders and are currently almost exclusively serving the general public. We take pride in doing the jobs in a timely fashion that no one else seemingly wants to do.

"For what is worth I did not and do not charge a premium for work that comes through Angie's list. I probably should as your lead cost somewhere around 40 or $50 and despite this I charge the same price as if I were contacted via another site. regarding the overall cost I am confident that it is in line with other companies in the area fees for a service call I believe it's an exceptional value if we're talking about emergency service call which this was deemed. nonetheless you are the customer and I apologize for any area that we missed the mark feel free to contact me privately and we can find a resolution"
