RWN Property Services is a general contracting company that specializes in land care, building maintenance, residential construction and excavation. We have 2 divisions within the company, Basement Authorities which specializes in basement waterproofing, structural foundation repair, dehumidification and helical piering and NuRock Creations which specializes in Decorative concrete, outdoor living, decorative hand carved structural retaining walls, and flat work.

"It has two years of trying to work with Robert Nelson of RWN over simple installation of stairs. In emails he said he would remove the and redo the steps but he never returned. Steps were supposed to replicate in color and texture of two granite steps in place. As you can see in the photo they aren't. Frustrated I asked Small Claims court to help. Thankfully they did and in my favor."

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use a Dremel to cut pavers, but you’ll need a masonry cut-off wheel and a Dremel that accepts a 3 1/2-inch cutting wheel. Slowly run the masonry cut-off wheel along your cut line, and then continue making shallow passes. Once the cut is about 1/8 inch deep, you can drive a chisel into the center of it to complete the cut.

Costs depend on concrete thickness, removal method, labor, and disposal fees.

No, you don’t need to wet concrete to cut it, particularly if you are using a dry-cutting blade. However, adding some water can help cut down on concrete dust. If you’re using a wet-cutting blade, then yes, you need a constant stream of water on your cutting piece while you’re cutting.

Yes, you can install a trench drain if you already have concrete in your yard or garden. While it can complicate some aspects of the job and slightly run up the cost, it is doable. Residential trench drains can be easily retrofitted to outdoor areas with concrete without having to remove excessive amounts of your patio, pool area, or decorative walkways.

A diamond masonry blade is the best option for cutting concrete. These are more expensive than abrasive blades, but they last much longer. A wet-cutting diamond blade is ideal for larger projects, as the water introduced during cutting will cool the blade and prevent you from having to take breaks to let the blade cool naturally.
