"/10 do not recommend. He came in and tiled my shower room. When we contacted our contractor who hired this guy because of concerns we had, Matt blamed everyone else except himself for the poor craftsmanship. A second opinion was sent by our contractor after Matt refused to replace certain things, even under the warranty, and there were numerous concerns and red flags. Those include not sealing the grout so it’s chipping away, messy grouting and caulking, missing trim, significant pudding and standing water and the list goes in. See pictures. If we wanted a 12x12 pattern we would have gotten 12x12 tiles This doesn’t even include my kitchen backsplash that he also didn’t seal. . Poor communication. Poor craftsmanship."

You should always pack glasses standing up. It will eliminate the pressure that comes with weight when delicate items are stacked on top of each other horizontally. Don’t forget to wrap each glass individually with bubble wrap, and don’t add anything on top except for additional padding. Always mark these boxes as fragile.

A window may fail because of age, defective mechanisms, or moisture. Depending on the issue, the window may be fixed with simple repairs. Otherwise, you’ll have to invest in replacing it. You can avoid damaged windows but keeping up with window maintenance.

Multi-surface cleaners and bleach will get smudges and debris off of the glass, but they more often leave behind cleaner residue because they don’t evaporate like a glass cleaner or rubbing alcohol. Additionally, any abrasive material or even the scrubbing side of a sponge can scratch your glass or coatings on the glass, gradually making the mirror look hazy.

Cutting glass yourself can be dangerous, as the edges are sharp and can easily cause lacerations if you’re not careful. Working with larger pieces of glass is especially dangerous, as they can be cumbersome and difficult to handle without shattering. If you’re uncomfortable doing the work yourself, you can hire a professional to get the job done safely.

While wavy glass is sometimes called antique glass or restoration glass due to the fact that it's found exclusively in older homes, the proper names for wavy glass are actually crown glass and cylinder glass. Most commonly used for circular or portal windows, crown glass was created by manufacturers using a process of blowing and spinning. Meanwhile, cylinder glass was used more commonly because it created large square sheets that could be shaped to fit windows of all shapes and sizes.
