"Right after they paved my driveway, I gave a great review. I should have given it a few years before reviewing, but that was my mistake. Six years later, different story. I now have multiple low spots that collect water when it rains, which means they didn't do the job correctly, and I'm seeing lots of cracks in the asphalt, all over my driveway. And after recently looking into it, I discovered that the minimum asphalt thickness for a driveway should be 3". His install was 2 1/2". I have it in writing. Sounds like cutting corners for some underhanded profit, to me. It really looks like it's going to have a shorter than normal lifespan. HUGE disappointment! Buyer beware!"

After three weeks and 3-6 people here on the days they were here they weren't even halfway complete, and after failing to report work through the code office, I let them go and hired Talbot & Son. Kyle and a one part time person were not only able to correct the major structural errors done by the previous contractor, but he completed the job in 8 working days. He kept me informed of every decision and gave me a heads-up when the topography would require us to modify the plan. He kept me informed with every step to make sure I understood the options. Along with painters I had earlier this spring, Kyle has the best work ethic of anyone I've ever hired. He is meticulous, honest, and extremely hard-working. "While the patio and walkway look great, the project took months longer than promised and remains unfinished. Max assured me the heating system under the pavers wouldn?t require an electrical upgrade, but after installation, he said it would?though supposedly free. That was false, and his electrician never contacted me to coordinate the upgrade and hookup. Every electrician I spoke to confirmed the upgrade is costly. Max?s follow-up has been poor, with months of no response. The fire pit?s electric start was also DOA, and over a year later, it?s still not fixed. His crew was hardworking and respectful, but given the delays, miscommunication, and unresolved issues, I can?t recommend StoneX. If they make things right, I?m happy to update my review."
