"On June 8th 2020 I purchased a 2006 vehicle from Walter D. Melevsky. This vehicle had been registered to Go Green Landscaping Inc as a commercial vehicle. Although there was no implied warranty Mr. Melevsky stated that the vehicle was in perfect working order and there were no issues that he was “aware of.” The Odometer read 72,273 miles when I took ownership of the vehicle. When the mileage read 72,580 (307 miles) The vehicle was sitting at an auto shop; with an as the mechanic said “utterly annihilated and completely blown transmission. That had sent pieces into the cooler.” The bill for this repair was $4,334.96. . When I spoke to Mr Melevsky he was immediately defensive and was quick to point out he sold the vehicle with no warranty and had no idea what I “did to it.” He offered absolutely zero compensation, and didn't even go as far to apologize that this had happened. After consulting with 7 mechanics about what unfolded here, the popular opinion is that the owner “had to have known. ” Specifically the theory is that the transmission fluid may have been changed out and the car let sit until someone came to test/buy the vehicle. Even an experienced mechanic (I took the vehicle to be looked at before purchase) would not have been able to identify this specific problem without disassembling the entire transmission which would not be feasible. The issue would become apparently after 4-6 engine hours. So in conclusion, whether Walter owner or GO Green Landscaping Inc acted nefarious is unconfirmed but likely. Judging by this companies other reviews he/they don’t seem to care much about customer service. Take your business elsewhere, and certainly don’t buy any vehicles from them."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

There are many types of wood fencing that you can choose from. For split rail fencing, the most common wood types are cedar, pine, black locust, and chestnut. The best wood for you will depend on if you like the way a certain wood looks and the availability of the wood type in your area.

Most of the wood types you can find at your local home improvement store are good choices since they all have rot-resistant properties or are pressure-treated with pesticides. If none of the wood options speak to the look you’re going for, check out vinyl fencing.

The cost to build a fence is about $3,100 on average, but you could pay anywhere from $400 to $13,700 or more. Your cost will depend on the length, height, and materials for the fence. If you hire a professional installer, labor costs typically represent about half of the total cost of the project. This means you potentially can save quite a bit of money doing the work yourself.

The least expensive farm fence to install is actually a wire fence rather than a cow fence made of lumber. A hog wire fence can be strong, long-lasting, and relatively easy to repair. A woven wire fence also requires less lumber than a wooden fence, reducing the overall cost of your project. However, wire fences tend not to be as aesthetically pleasing as wood fences.

Split rail fencing is a type of post and rail fencing. Other post and rail fences include corral board and post and dowel. Post and rail fencing is the term used for any type of fence with vertical posts, horizontal rails, and nothing else (specifically excluding pickets). So, technically, a split rail fence is a post and rail fence.

Wood, vinyl, chain link, and aluminum are common materials. Choose based on durability, maintenance needs, and aesthetics.
