"Bart Flanagan made an appointment and met me to view the tree I needed taken down. His office provided a quote and a date was set. The team arrived, dropped the tree, chipped it and were done within a half hour. Friendly, courteous and very efficient! If I ever need tree service again, I will contact Bart Flanagan,"

"All Seasons did a great job taking down some very large trees on our property. They came on the day they said they would be there and they left the job with hardy a trace after taking down 4 100â trees. I would highly recommend their service!"

"I can't say enough about my experience with this business. Prompt, professional, polite...I can't say enough good things...the crew came in and pulled off what seemed impossible with the efficiency of a well greased machine. They got the job done and cleaned up everything. I've owned 12 homes and have lots of services over the years and this is easily the best encounter ever...Kevin and the team are better than great. I'm old and was treated so fair and square...that isn't always the case. I can't say enough good things...I shouldn't have worried so much and you shouldn't either if you go with this company. Finally...the cost was SIGNIFICANTLY LESS than the other two quotes I got....ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC."

"The tree we had taken down was very big, and close to our home, and another building. Chris did a great job taking down the tree. We would definitely recommend this company. Would not hesitate to reach out again if we need to have another tree taken down. Thank you "Angie's" for the recommendation!!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Rock salt or Epsom salt can damage and kill tree roots over several weeks and can even assist in removing the tree's stump. However, you need to drill holes or cut into the stump and surface tree roots to inject them properly with the salt. Repeat the process every two weeks until the roots visibly rot away.

Talking with a septic pro before planting trees near your tank is best to ensure the roots won’t interfere with your septic system. However, there is an easy way to figure out where to plant a tree—but you’ll need to know how tall it can get when it’s fully grown. For instance, if the tree can reach 50 feet, plant it at least 50 feet from your septic system.

It enhances property aesthetics, improves tree health, and prevents safety hazards.

The best way to protect tree roots is to avoid the roots entirely by excavating outside the root radius of the tree. For nearby projects, it’s a good idea to construct a temporary retaining wall. But that’s not always possible, depending on the project and the root system. In these cases, consider using alternative equipment like an auger to tunnel under the ground.

Remember, tree roots can damage nearby cement foundations as they grow. If a tree is close enough to interfere with large excavations, it may be better to remove the tree than risk future problems.

If you’re wondering why tree trunks are painted white in your area, it’s usually to prevent sunscald, a condition where extreme shifts in temperature can cause tree bark to split. Fruit trees are especially vulnerable to sunscald, so this treatment is worth considering if it’s something that affects your trees.
