"I called David Athas for a quote to get a dryer vent installed. He called me back the same day and set an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time and gave me several different options on where I could install the vent. He recommended someone to do the plumbing. Both men were professional, on time and completed the work as promised. I would recommend David 100% Vent and ductwork do not come up as an option as to job done, which is why I had to pick handyman however David is in fact a HVAC vent and duct professional."

"We had a large load of wood and miscellaneous items to haul to the dump. Will was courteous, and friendly and did a fantastic job for us. He hauled everything away, leaving the area very clean! What a help to us and reasonably priced for the work involved. Yes we would recommend this company!"

"It went fairly well, except for the few times workers had to be called to other jobs.  My only b**** is that some of his workers did not clean up after themselves.  However, when the job was finished, Devin came out to make sure they left the place clean.  I think they should buy a swiffer sweeper and give to each crew they send out.  Fast easy way to clean up the nasty dust from cutting tiles, etc.....
But when the plumbers came back to hook everything up, Devin's workers had not cut the tile correctly so that the shower pieces would fit correctly, so he was back out here making it right for us within  a few hours.
Would use him again!

Dryer Vent Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Dryer vents commonly need to be replaced every one to three years. This will depend on the rate at which you dry loads, how often you clean your vent, and what type of vent you have. For instance, regular care will prolong the life span of most options, while aluminum foil vents may need to be replaced more frequently with or without regular maintenance.

You can install a washer and dryer in most places throughout your house, provided you have the proper plumbing lines and electrical outlets needed. You’ll also need enough space to install ventilation for the dryer, which can limit where you install the washer and dryer. Common places to install a washer and dryer in a house include a dedicated laundry room, the basement, a bathroom, a hall closet, or even a kitchen. Keep in mind: It will cost a lot more money to install a washer or dryer in a space that is not currently designed to support these appliances.

To lower humidity quickly, run a dehumidifier or your home's air conditioner or turn on exhaust fans to extract moisture. These methods can quickly and effectively bring your home's humidity levels to a comfortable condition. However, you should consistently practice humidity-reducing tasks to maintain proper indoor humidity levels.

If your dryer is wet inside, it could be due to a poorly designed ventilation system. This happens more frequently during the hotter months as heat is trapped inside the vent duct. Broken or failing seams and seals on the vent pipe can also allow warm air to enter. If changing the ventilation is not an option, consider insulating your vent pipes to reduce moisture capturing.

Regular cleaning, sealing ductwork, and ensuring proper airflow paths keep systems functioning optimally, maintaining energy efficiency.
