There install was absolutely fabulous. My wife and I were amazed at there professionalism and the way they kept the work area clean. When they were finished they made sure my wife and I were comfortable with the operation of the controls before they left. Clean up of the work area was spotless. Jeff Miller was our salesman. Jeff was on time with his appointments. He makes the decision very easy due to his professionalism and product knowledge. He was immediately responsive and called me on the same weekend I submitted request. He was out to take a look on that Monday. He was knowledgeable but not pushy. "I contacted the company's local office repeatedly to get it repaired as a warranty-covered item.  I scheduled the date/time for the repair person to come (taking the day off work) and they did a "no-show" - no call, nothing. I contacted Champion locally and was brushed off with "the scheduler had the day off" -- not certain how that affects a service call scheduled several weeks prior and they offered no satisfactory explanation.  I attempted to schedule another day for the repair and was told that they only have one service/repair person for the entire suburban DC and Baltimore area and that they only service my area one day a week.  I decided to contact the main office and finally spoke with someone in customer service who said they would look into the situation and call me back -- this never happened. "

"It all started out well after purchase of the initial Angie's list deal.  We promptly agreed on a date and a gentlemen came to measure and start the paperwork. Install date was set for 11/5/15. On 11/4, I was called about setting an install date.  My response was I already had one for the next day. Long story short, the company did not bother to tell me they had cancelled my appointment, they just acted like I never had one.  It was as though one side of the business did not know what the other side was doing. Since I made arrangements to be home on the 5th, I was not happy.  We finally settled on the 12th and the installation went smoothly enough.  However after completion, I noticed the installers had broken a piece of moulding in front of the patio door.  I know they realized they cracked it because they used clear caulk as a fix. I called the company and they said they would replace.  As of 11/30, the moulding still has not been replaced even though I was told the installer was picking up molding on 11/17.
I will say the person who came to measure and the lady who did the follow-up calling were professional. However, I can't say the same for the install side. The contact person was nice enough but he did not contact me to say the install was cancelled and to me it's taking way too long to replace the molding the installers broke.  I view it as a lack of integrity to cover up breaking the piece and not bothering to say anything to me.  The patio door is beautiful and I had planned to purchase a front door from them but have changed my mind.

He is an excellent home improvement contractor who goes well beyond that of a home Contractor and communicates with you any issues and what must be done. Based on my experiences.
