"Joel is wonderful to work with! We converted a semi-finished room in our basement into a home theater. Joel worked with us on how to best layout the room and installed the sound system/speakers, projector, screen, lighting, and sound panels. Joel helped us pick the best equipment for our space and within our budget. When it came to installing, he has an almost obsessive attention to detail in the best way. He saw that the screen was 1/16th of an inch off level. I never would have noticed, but he made the adjustments to make it perfect. All of his work was like that - the details are perfect. The work went fast and we could not be happier with the results. The picture is big, bright and so clear. The sound is so crisp that you can hear birds fly over your head in a movie. You feel like part of the crowd when watching a football game. It really is an amazing set up. "We hired Guardian to install our security system at our Washington, DC, business. The service and quality of the work was horrible. We had cameras and an alarm system installed; it was a relatively large system. They outsource most of the work to various vendors. They could not manage their vendors; what was supposed to take a week took two months. The sales rep did not return calls, and you could never get anyone in management on the phone. Random people would show up at unannounced times. The few things that an actual Guardian employee did were they made a huge mess of our newly remodeled office and were rude to our staff. We have offices in five markets across the US and have high security at each; we have never had such a poor experience."

"I have been on this system for 3-4 years. The initial installation went ok, but the overall functionality and reliability of the system is poor. The basic alarm system works when you manually arm/ disarm it through the app or keypad. However, the alarm cannot be set up on an automated schedule, and NONE of the connected automation features work - lights, outlets, blinds, etc. I purchased the recommended products that the company promised would seamlessly integrate into the system during the sales pitch, but none of them work. They have sent technicians out a couple times but, even after installing bulky repeater boxes in about half a dozen outlets, the system cannot connect. I have submitted several tickets, but Vintage just closes them out and suggests that I self troubleshoot. Alternatively, I can pay for an Automation Maintenance package and they will send a technician out. Bottom line - their system is nothing more than a 1990's alarm with a keypad and phone app. They dont deliver on what they sell, and they try to charge extra for support that should be included."

"The repair was successful and not as bad as I feared. I have called CET several times in recent years through AngiesList to do repairs. The electrician Tim arrived on time and carefully ran a few tests to determine the problem while describing to me what he was doing. It turned out to be a bad wall switch which he replaced with a new switch I had on hand. I will call CET again the next time I have an electrical problem."

"Contacted Roof Right for an estimate for having two old, leaking skylights removed and subroof and shingles installed in their place. I was quickly contacted by Roof Right to set up and appointment and Randy came by to take a look and give me an estimate. He was courteous and professional, easy to talk to. We thought their price was fair and had a good reputation so we hired them. Scheduling was easy and the crew was there when they were supposed to be. The crew was very nice, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. They worked quickly and efficiently. Payment through their portal was very easy too. Overall very happy with the work and would hire again. Thanks Roof Right for an easy process and a job well done."

"Work as good but lack communication and the estimator was only at my home for 30 minutes before and said full service for my electrical which I already knew the work done was excellent but the generator repair was forced on me and is now wired but still doesn't work I was told to contact the generator company for service it won't let me post photos but all in all work was a 5/5 service was well below a 0/5"

"I was on the market for a security system and this one seemed easy enough to install.......went through the process and some of the window sensors were not working. I called Customer Support who was very friendly and we went through the entire process again...this time other window sensors did not work. This went on for a week or so...then the door senors stopped working....than the motion sensor stopped working...at no time in over a month did I have a fully operational security system. As I was about to return the system I was told they have "new" sensors and they just realized they received a bad batch and are working with another company.....Gave it a try....and same issue returned....some sensors worked....some didn't. I finally returned the system and stopped getting emails.....only to find that they were still billing my credit card even after I returned the equipment. Very nice people and very understanding.....unfortunately their product is not up to par. While we do have a large home, it's an open concept and the sensors that weren't working were no more than 15ft away from the base. The previous owners of my house had a wireless system with no issues at all.....I'm going to be using that company going forward."
