"I discovered petpee.com when I was searching online for ways to remove the urine odor from our 10’ x 14’ Karastan wool oriental rug. I had planned to clean the rug myself, but I was intrigued by the videos I saw on YouTube of petpee.com’s owner, Meir Martin, demonstrating how he cleans rugs like mine. I searched for petpee.com reviews and was blown away by the number of glowing reviews that had been written by satisfied customers. I knew then and there that I wanted to turn my rug over rug to Mr. Martin to finally get rid of the urine odor that had been building up for over 10 years. I called him and got a quote of $1079, which included shipping both ways, cleaning the rug, and a guarantee that I would not be able to detect any urine odor when my rug was returned to me. After getting over the sticker shock, my husband gave me the green light to send the rug to petpeepee.com. I think he was more interested in getting rid of my constant complaints about the urine odor than the actual odor itself! Mr. Martin walked us through how to pack up our rug for shipping via UPS, having us send him pictures to make sure we had prepared it properly. Even though we followed his instructions, I received an email from UPS 5 days later that my rug had been lost. "They have been cleaning our house for years, however it is not the best service out there. For the first several years I had them, things were broken way too frequently. Of the things I reported, they did reimburse me. Also they rarely raised their rates on us. Now the rates raise every year and I now feel I am paying way too much for a once a month clean. Lately my issue with them is they continue to turn up my thermostat. I reported it the first time and I was told they were probably dusting it and that's why it was bumped up. It is the only thing on that wall and trust me, they don't dust well enough for that to have happened. They always give a two hour window, however they almost always come at the end of the window, even if you are first appointment. All of that said, they do come when scheduled and they get our home back to a much better place then when they arrived. I have a house filled to the brim due to family deaths and I am sure that make our home a challenge to clean, so that works both ways. They show up and they work."
