I was given clear heads-up about any additional work needed during the project and any additional costs. They were respectful of my plants and surrounding structures. They kept the work area tidy at the end of each day. Victor responded promptly when the original coat on the back porch exterior painting in some areas had pealed. We considered alternatives and paid to have an industrial surface coated on the horizontal decking. We are currently very pleased with this new coating. The re-screening was also very well-done; very pleased with the results. The painting and carpentry work on the front porch looks terrific! The pricing was in the hi-moderate range but well worth it. "We have used S&J Painting and Remodeling many times over the past 5 years, most recently (spring 2025) for handyman services. S&J provide services for a full day, so we typically accumulate a few projects. Our most recent project included replacing two faucets, fixing a very loose banister, repairing a hole in the drywall, as well as a few basic jobs, hanging pictures and installing bathroom fixtures. I expected to paint after the drywall and banister were repaired, but they took care of it for me. When replacing one of the faucets they found the supply lines were old and rusty. They went to Home Depot, purchased new supply lines and installed them at no extra cost. While there they picked up some brackets to secure some other loose pipes they happened to see while in the utility room. We really appreciate the extra attention to detail and doing more than we even realized needed done. We are already accumulating new projects. Scheduling and workday communication is excellent."
