"I wanted to get a head start on some projects, Brian did an excellent job cleaning my windows. I like the fact that Brian comes out to introduce himself from the start to give a consultation in explaining his process. My windows were very dirty, and they look great inside/out especially after a harsh winter. Brian is very courteous, and diligent. I will be having Brian around for other projects this spring to work on such as the Deck . He has excellent reviews along with another (27) 5 star ratings with Angles over the past few years he has built up he had shown me."

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Clean with non-abrasive cleaners and a soft cloth, avoiding ammonia-based products that can degrade the film.

The simplest way to clean stained glass windows is by using warm distilled water and a damp cloth. Distilled water won’t corrode the stained glass or leave residue behind. Avoid using cleaners with alcohol or ammonia. However, you should only clean when necessary. Stained glass windows are fragile, and excessive cleaning could cause fading, weakening of the solder, or other damage.

One of the best professional cleaning solutions that won’t leave streaks is one gallon of distilled or bottled water mixed with 2 to 4 teaspoons of dish soap. Apply using a sponge in a figure-eight motion, and then use a squeegee to remove the majority of the water and soap. You can finish drying with a piece of old black-and-white newspaper to remove any residue for a streak-free clean every time.

Getting a streak-free shine after cleaning your windows requires both the right cleaning solutions—which can either include warm water and dish soap or warm water and rubbing alcohol—and the right tools—namely, a squeegee and a microfiber cloth. To make your streak-free glass cleaner, combine one gallon of warm water with a few drops of dish soap, and mix. Apply with a sprayer or sponge, and then dry with a squeegee, microfiber cloth, or old black-and-white newspaper pages.

Yes, pros are equipped to clean various glass types, including stained glass and skylights.
