For small projects ( less than a whole days work) I charge by the hour, starting at $40 per hour and going up for more specialized work. For projects that take more than one effort day, I generally quote it fixed-price. I do glass blowing as a hobby; there is a glass shop near here where I rent shop time to make gifts mostly for family and friends.
