LPZ Tree Solution, is offering tree services in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) Area. We are a company with 20 years of experience, looking for the opportunity to serve at the lowest cost, we have all the licenses and insurance necessary to do the job. TREE REMOVAL, TREE TRIMMING, ANY work related to trees, we are the ones for the job.

"LPZ Tree Solution is an excellent company, start to finish! A quote was provided upon inspection. The team was punctual, efficient, and worked diligently. They carefully removed two large trees and a dead trunk in less than five hours. Logs and trimmings were removed with minimal property damage (falling logs do dent dirt). The 80 footer had rot high up and stood by a brick wall. Limbs were cut and lowered without incident. LPZ called Miss Utilities and ground stumps after MU indicated where power/water/gas lines were located. Negotiations to conclusion was under two weeks! Everyone in the six-man team was professional and courteous. I will hire again if the need arises. They are that good!"

"I’m very satisfied with Frank and his son’s work. Frank returned my initial call the same day, explaining the process. Once he received information on utility lines location (his request at Missutility.net), they arrived with the equipment on time, reviewed the site, asked questions about what level of grinding was needed, what is my future planting ideas, and gave me a price, which seemed too high at first (got two other quotes much lower but no questions about utility lines, my future plans, etc.). I was very pleased with the work: a large stump with its large lateral roots were completely removed preparing the ground for planting. Very reliable, professional, clean and easy to deal with. You get what you pay for! It is a very specialized business that is worth to be supported. Highly recommended!"

Phoenix Fence And Deck has been serving the Maryland community since 2001. We are a full service Fence Company specializing in building custom Wooden, Aluminum and Wrought Iron fences. We offer quality and reliable service. All our fences are installed by well trained Fence Mechanics. We are an owner-operated company and we do not subcontract any of our work.

"I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Phoenix. If you're looking for a quality fence at a reasonable price look no further. Jeff and Karen were incredible to work with. We had 5 different companies come out for quotes and Jeff's thorough, no-nonsense explanation of fence types and prices made it an easy choice. When we decided to switch a portion of the fence from picket to picket w/ cap-board, I called Karen expecting the quote to be more expensive but she and Jeff said they could do it for the same price. Despite being told it was a two week wait, I got a call from Karen that they could install it the same week. Both Jeff and Karen are extremely professional and their communication made the project a stress-free, enjoyable experience. The workers, who were all brothers, were incredible. I was shocked by the speed with which they tore down the old chainlink fence, which was installed 60 years ago and had literally grown through the trunk of two trees. They methodically installed the new 218 square foot fence in one day, making sure everything was done properly. When the job was done, one worker insisted on grabbing a tool and coming back an hour later to remove a very stubborn old fence post. This level of detail and craftsmanship is hard to find nowadays. The fence has transformed our backyard and we couldn't be more happy!"

Angie's List - SUPER SERVICE AWARD WINNER - EACH YEAR SINCE 2010!!! Northern Virginia fence company devoted to their customer's satisfaction. Using only company employees, not sub-contractors. We offer all types of wood as well as chain link, aluminum for swimming pools, dog runs, dog parks, residential and commercial.

"Extremely well, even though we experienced many obstacles before we could give them the go-ahead to proceed. How I prepared: • Researched the county and HOA rules. Discovered I could get an 8’ high privacy fence in the back because our property abuts a major road. • Looked up fence laws on the county website. Found out that if a fence is built on a lot line, that both owners own half the fence and are responsible for half of the upkeep, so we wanted to be sure that our new fence was just inside our lot line. • Got property surveys. Had to call them back because they didn’t put stakes everywhere we needed • Put up tape between the surveyors’ stakes so I that could be sure the fence avoided some trees on one neighbor’s side, still staying within our lot line. Services provided by Adirondack after I accepted proposal: • Extensive e-mail exchange to identify and work through any issues that might come up on installation day. • Helped me with HOA request by providing pictures of proposed fence and gate materials, and a drawing of the proposed fence placement on the property • Worked with me during process of getting surveys, HOA approval, easement identification and avoidance, constant rain, and change in proposed fence line after surveys completed because we needed to avoid easements and large trees in the back of the property • At my request, avoided using our driveway because it was recently resurfaced • Planning around other contractors scheduled to work on the property (e.g. arborists and landscapers), and constant rainy days Day of installation at 7 a.m. Monday 11/26th: • It rained all day, but the crew worked diligently and were able to finish in 2 days. They built the fence and gates on site rather than using prefabricated panels. • Met with owner Rob, and foreman Jose to go over o EXACT fence placement (needed to be just inside property line, avoiding as few trees as possible in the wooded area in the back, and working with a large stump and the neighbor’s fence along one of the sides) o Went over every utility marking and compared it to photos I had taken when they were first marked. Rain had made them harder to see, but we located them and the crew was able to avoid the utilities. o Gate placement o Whether supporting parallel boards needed to go inside or outside the vertical boards. This was important because of HOA rules. o During the process, the foreman was putting up tape to mark the fence line. • During installation o Foreman Jose asked me again about some of the fence placement, and which side I wanted the vertical boards on. Glad I was home to remind him of what I wanted. o They were patient when I went out to inspect several times, and after they had finished. Caveat • I rated the price as an “A” but I selected Adirondack from reading reviews online rather than get competing bids. I was time-constrained, and because of delays not the fault of Adirondack, we barely got the fence put in before the weather became cold. It is important to me to have workers who are employees of the companies I hire, and are protected if they get injured. The price I paid was fair to me, especially as I watched them work in cold pouring rain, sitting on top of an 8’ fence, hammering."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Unfortunately, no: Homeowners’ insurance won’t cover the removal of a tree before it falls, no matter how dead or precariously positioned it is. Homeowners’ insurance usually will only apply when a tree has fallen and caused property damage.

A serrated knife will work for cutting off small palm tree fronds, about 1 inch in diameter. For larger fronds, you will need pruning shears. You may also use a pruning saw, and if your palm tree is especially tall, an extended pole saw can help you reach the brown fronds around the trunk.

In nature, there are many things that can cause a tree to die, including diseases, insects, and natural disasters such as fires or droughts. Non-natural methods of killing a tree include herbicides or manual intervention, such as cutting it down. Consult a tree removal professional about your options for naturally killing a tree.

Tree roots are hearty and complex systems, so they don’t die immediately after the rest of the tree is removed. If you leave the root system in place, it takes anywhere from two to seven years for it to run out of nutrients. It is worth noting, however, that the roots stop growing and expanding after cutting down the rest of the tree.

Generally, you should prune around 20% of an apple tree’s growth—and never more than 30%. This means that if you have a severely overgrown tree, it can take a few seasons to prune it back enough to produce the healthiest fruit.

If you’re dealing with a newly planted or juvenile tree, hold off on pruning beyond the initial shaping. Wait at least a couple of seasons into fruit production since pruning can increase the number of water sprouts and unproductive foliage.
