"Removed two large oaks, trimmed a cherry tree and did some yard clean up all in one very hot day. Crew worked hard and efficiently, no wasted time. I would recommend to friends."

"Great. I had trees bring down a gate and fence. Jose and crew removed the trees and vines that came down with trees, including poison ivy. Jose had a company in to replace the fence the same day. Looking out for me and my dog. Don't want to praise him too much, because I want him back to do more work and afraid he will have too many people seeking his service. However, I can not afford to hire full time, so I have to share Jose and Crew with others. You can't go wrong by hiring Jose's Tree Service and estimates are reasonable."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Depending on the severity of the damage, a tree might continue healing for years after a split or a break. Saplings can usually bounce back in the spring in one or two seasons, but larger trees might take a few years to regain their former strength. If your tree is showing strong growth and is not dropping limbs, you can consider it healed after the first two seasons.

There are a few differences between tree guying and tree staking. Tree guying requires anchor stakes that are shorter and stronger than regular stakes and are driven deeper into the ground at an angle away from the tree. Tree staking uses longer stakes that are set parallel to the tree and are used for smaller trees. Consult a local tree professional to determine which method is best for your tree.

Yes, you can hire professionals to move a tree. Arborists and tree transplanting companies specialize in this type of work and use equipment like hydraulic tree spades to safely extract and relocate trees with their root balls intact. Since tree moving is a complex process, especially for larger trees, it’s best left to experts who understand how to protect the tree’s health and ensure the safety of everyone involved.

Salt, herbicide, light deprivation, boiling water, and burning can all help dissolve a tree stump. You can also bury the tree stump in soil or mulch to help it rot naturally. Killing a tree stump prevents future regrowth, but you may also remove it by digging it out or grinding it.

Homeowners are usually not responsible for trees that fall on power lines. Power companies usually have utility easements around power lines, which give them the responsibility to maintain any trees within about 15 to 20 feet of the lines.
