"We are ecstatic about how our basement renovation turned out! When my husband and I met Chris in March 2021, he was very professional and knowledgeable about what it would for our project. The cost estimate he provided was reasonable and we were able to stay in budget. His team was polite and had good work ethic. Chris was very engaged in the entire project and kept us aware of progress and delays. In addition to the project, they included a few other items that really helped us (I.e., electrical socket in the front of house, cable wiring in the living room for better signaling throughout the house)They did great work and we will be using their services for future projects! We would highly recommend The North Star Companies!"

"After interviewing several companies to have our kitchen remodelled, we selected VKB, and we are happy we did. VKB provided a lower estimate than other companies, and their reviews were good. As our designer, Sean was easy-going, accommodating and patient in explaining our options. He promptly created the 3d pdf files with the design of our kitchen, which were helpful to have throughout the project. Adam was in charge of our project, and his responsiveness and understanding were outstanding. At one point we were a bit unhappy with a corner cabinet, but reluctantly we felt we needed to "settle" because there was not sufficient space for a Super Susan. Adam made some research and promptly contacted us with a solution that was perfect for enhanced functionality. Last but not least, Ismar, our foreman on the job was professional, responsive, pleasant, and amazingly skilled. He and his team worked diligently on the electrical portion, cabinet installation, backsplash, appliance installation, and painting. Everyone accommodated us to the best of their ability and always left our house clean and orderly. Well done, VKB!"

"They did a great job of leveling my daughter's sidewalk which the builder refused to repair. Price was fair and office and workmen were a pleasure to work with."

"The entire process went extremely well. The estimate was very clear about the scope of work, the crew was professional, on time and carefully about reducing disruption/mess and our basement is dry, as promised. They even went above and beyond and fixed a downspout outside so water would flow away from the house. Once the job was finished, the company rep came out to walk through with us and answer any questions. I have no doubt that if a problem did arise, they'd fix it."

"Romualdo fixed our basement concrete floor to make it even and prepare it for vinyl flooring installation. His services were reasonably priced and he took the time to advise us on the different alternatives that we had to get the job done. He was kind and did an excellent job."

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Oswaldo and his team for a foundation repair project, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service they provided. From the moment they arrived at the job site, Oswaldo displayed exceptional professionalism and expertise. He quickly assessed the areas that needed attention and promptly updated the repair plan to ensure it met the specific requirements of the situation. Despite facing challenging weather conditions—snow and ice melt, followed by heavy rain, and an unexpected flow of water under the house—Oswaldo and his team showcased remarkable perseverance. Their dedication to completing the job, no matter the obstacles, was commendable. Additionally, I appreciated Oswaldo's commitment to communication. He kept me thoroughly updated on the project's progress and any necessary changes, which provided me peace of mind throughout the process. Overall, I highly recommend Oswaldo and his team for any foundation repair needs. Their experti"

"Great guy, casual approach, does not ask enough questions. As a homeowner, I don't have his knowledge and is up to him to educate a little better. Overall, very, very good."
