Despite my asking that the arborist stop by again to look at the tree and discuss it before we paid the full charge, the company charged my credit card in full. When I called, the owner/manager was defensive and unwilling to take any accountability for the quality or in any way adjust the price. I am self-employed and would never have told an unhappy client "sorry, I did what I think was right and the whole charge is on you." I have used Adirondack before once a few years ago and was satisfied, so was not expecting such poor service. My biggest issue wasn't even the pruning because I think there was an honest misunderstanding but the owner's refusal to come out to the house and look at the work done before charging my credit cart (which they had from the deposit),"
