"The experience went well right until I was quoted a price for ceiling fan installation.  Customer service reps and the electrician were polite and professional.  Electrician showed up during service window, and customer service called me a half hour before his arrival.  However, I was incredibly surprised when the electrician told me the installation of the ceiling fan*** would cost just short of $700.  He said he may be able to do it for ~$670, but that'd be the lowest he could go.  I passed.

***Ceiling fan in a room where there was no existing ceiling fan, light fixture, wiring.  Light switch existed in room, connected to a wall outlet.  

The reason I was so surprised was because (2 years prior) I had hired this company to do the exact same job in an adjacent room.  During that job, there was additional electrical work done in another room at the same time.  The charge at the time was considerably less. 

Further, I provided all details about the service over the phone on more than one occasion. The electrician quoted the price of installation off a price sheet.  Instead of me being given an estimate over the phone, I took a half day off from work just to pass on a much higher price than what I had paid for the same work on another occasion.  In the future, I will look for another company for any electrical services.

"Everything went very well. The movers were friendly and cordial and worked hard. They were careful to put things in the truck in the right order and got almost everything in in one go. With the help of my son the work was done in about 3 hours. Only once they were a bit overly enthusiastic and hit the ceiling with a cabinet they were carrying upstairs, but the damage was minimal. They removed hardware when needed and made sure things were put in the right places (I had labeled things with colored tape which helped). I would definitely recommend their service to my friends. "I had several fixtures installed - ceiling fan, lights, undercabinet lights replaced, and bathroom exhause fan, etc. The 3 fellows arrived exactly on time, worked steadily and finished in 5 hours. They even did a couple extra things we found as work went along. They were able to schedule the work for a Saturday so I was able to be there and answer questions if needed. I would definitely hire them again. Their bid was well below the other bids I received."
