It took one day to remove all the old material, pour the concrete and clean up. The job involved re-grading the entire slope of the driveway and the concrete was extended to provide an even transition into the garage. "Started off a day late but was informed in advance. Work moved steady, but paused waiting for the concrete supplier; again was informed so we could adjust the schedule. During design of the walks, we had full say and before each step in the prep and shaping, we had approvals. Before the pour, we made a design change without problems. All of this approval control made for an excellent set of walks. The driveway required edging the overgrown grass and dirt/water cleaning before the sealing."

"Michael came by the house and gave me a recommendation and estimate on what it would take to guarantee that my basement wouldn't flood.  He was very knowledgeable and professional with his quote.  He had recommended widening my drain and installing a french drain as a surefire way to fix the problem.  However, he did say that if I don't decide to install the additional french drain and only go with widening the drain, he recommended that I go with a plumber instead.  That helped solidify that he was giving an honest opinion an estimate of the work to be done.  I ended up deciding to do the work, at first, but after having a weekend to think about it, I was reconsidering my decision since in the past I also wanted a patio done and decided to kill two birds with one stone.  I had put down a $1100 deposit and since I cancelled the job within three business days, they refunded me my deposit, no questions asked.  It was relieving to see that I didn't have to jump through any hoops to cancel after I had changed my mind.  I will definitely reach out to them in the future if I need other drainage solutions but at this point I decided to forego the drain solution and see if I can fix it with building a patio instead.

"The initial interactions with Jay were great. Jay was professional and personable in assessing the issues with my home's foundation. One of the selling points for me with JES was that the price of the repair would not change no matter how deep they had to drive the piers. I've interacted with other contractors that will assume 30 feet per push pier, meaning if they need to drive deeper than some or all of that cost is passed onto the homeowner. As it turned out, most piers on my home had to be driven 60-90 feet. The crew - Victor, Freddy, and Jose - completed the foundation repair in four days. They arrived on time and maintained their schedule. I appreciated Victor's explanations of his work and attention to detail. I could tell Victor was striving to do his best to stabilize the foundation without causing additional damage to my house. For example, the crew dug all the holes for the piers by hand to avoid damaging anything with an excavator. At the footer of my foundation, there was a drainage system of plastic corrugated pipe. The pipe had to cut, but when the crew was done they reattached the pipe with fittings so that the system would still function. I found the clean up by the crew on the final day to be exceptional. They filled refilled the holes and compacted the dirt, they removed all their equipment and materials, and hosed away all the excess dirt on my sidewalk and driveway."
