"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."

"It went pretty well. The removed of the old bath tub was a lot harder then they anticipated. Our house is an old modular home and the bath tub was attached differently then most. What they thought would take about 2 hours actually took about 5 hours. But they stayed with it and did an excellent job. We are extremely please with the work they did and the out come. They were very easy to work with and explained any issues or concerns very well. The show unit looks so good now we just can't get over the differences it makes."

"Very satisfactory. He came on time to see what needed to be done. He and my son looked it all over and decided how to repair the roof. Mr. Stehm (I believe that is his name, pls forgive my mistake if I'm wrong) gave the most reasonable price. I got another estimate from another outfit for $1,000.00. Mr. Stehm came on the appointed day and fixed the roof w/in a reasonable (4) hours. Also, he cleaned up after himself.

The project entailed wallpaper removal from 2.5 bathrooms and kitchen, repainting those rooms; installing a tile backsplash and vinyl tile floor in the kitchen; replacing the kitchen countertop; repairing a cabinet; repairing drywall and painting the ceiling in the master bedroom. The owner came out to do the estimate himself. He was accommodating when I wanted to expand the scope of the initial project and came out a second time to give me an updated estimate. "I feel lukewarm about the experience. He did not finish everything that I asked him to.  I had given him a list before hand, including caulking.  The grout he put in was actually a different color and I had matching grout that he could have used instead.  He did the front corner of the bath, but did not do the rear corner.  I had cabinets that weren't closing properly, and he skipped one of them. At the end he said he did everything, but he missed some things."
