"Mike and Kellie worked with us quickly as my original concrete guy stopped answering communications. They came quickly and completed the job without any issues and it looks GREAT. I highly recommend this company. This is an update for the job that was completed months ago. The project was replacement of some of the sections of a concrete pool surround and off the bat we knew matching the pebbled concrete would be difficult. It is now about 6 weeks and it is almost exactly the same as the original and I have other contractors out for other projects and all remarked at how professional and great the job was. "I called JES Foundation Company for a free inspection of my crawl space. I was concerned about a crack in my foundation wall. JES inspector Richard Sheman Showed up to inspect my foundation. He sent a text with the time of his arrival. He was pleasant and on time. He went into my crawlspace and inspected the crack in the wall and stated I had nothing to worry about. He was very knowledgeable about the foundation and itâ  s structure. He explain to me how I could fix the superficial settling crack and save a bunch of money. About 2 weeks prior to that Steve visited my house and went over options for installation and came up with a plan and price. The installers kept me engaged in the process and we made decisions for equipment and placement for every piece of hardware. Before they did any drilling, they had me look at the location and my approval first. The only technicians to work like that. Couldn't be happier."

"We hired Tim Smith @ Shorescapes to install patio pavers of our back porch. He said it would take 3 days to complete the job. It took him 6 half days to complete the job. There was supposed to be a sitting wall on a 16 x 16 area and an insert for our BBQ but when he applied for a permit they only allowed 12 x 16. Which kind of altered the plans. The pattern in the pavers were just randomly put down with odd and uneven cuts. It should have been a three-paver pattern throughout the entire patio. When he was done I wasnt home. My wife had just gotten home when they finished and really didnt have a chance to check it all out but she paid him the remainder of the balance. When I got home and saw the job I said she should have withheld payment because a lot of the pavers were uneven, the cuts were shotty, and one paver actually hung over the edge randomly. The polymer they used didn't even penetrate the spaces between the pavers as he got the wrong king with large pebbles in it...as his helper put it down he was right behind him blowing the polymer all around. I called him to come back and they reset the blocks that were sinking and recut the uneven pavers. And he did. I'm not confident that the crush and run was sufficiently packed down because the pavers are shifting again. The BBq area looks like crap, the pavers under it are slanted forward and the design is not right. The wall portion looks so undone. We called a few other contractors in afterward to see if they could fix it. They were like "Who did this job?" it's not done right. The pattern isn't done right and the pavers aren't level. We are getting new estimates to fix his mistakes."

"I would recommend them to anyone who needs masonry work done. They did a good job of grinding out the mortar and replacing a brick on my front steps. However, the job also included grouting around the top step where the concrete meets the siding and on the last step where it meets the sidewalk. They used white grout, which stood out like a sore thumb, and was too wide and very gloppy. When I told them about it, they said they would wash the steps down one day and come back the next, take the white out at the bottom and replace it with gray. But they did the washing and the grouted over the top of the white. Now, the gray grout was 1 1/2 inches wide in places. Looked terrible, and the white just looked worse and worse. Called again. They came out and took out the gray and white and put a clear grout. Looked better, so I asked them, to take out the white and put clear on the top step. They did, and it looks better than the white, but they should have done that in the first place. While the young men seemed to know masonry work, they definitely were not good at grouting. The steps look old now, from so much grinding, grouting, and work, and the top pad was just replaced 2 or 3 years ago. It looks much older. But I must say, they did come back and re-do when I was not happy. Just wish they had done it right the first time. Plus, I forgot to tell them, that they put their tools on my grass on those 90+ degree days. The front lawn has come back, but on the side, I have a patch where they killed all my grass. I think it must have been part of the coiled-up hose because there is a line from it to my hose and that was the day they washed my steps off."

"After the waterproofing was done I have been working to replace the paneled walls in my basement that they had to cut 4' up because of my leak areas. To early to tell about the leaking, but so far so good."
