BEWARE of First Class (now Horizon Services)!!!! Great work by my technician Dave, but absolutely outrageous prices!!! After my repairman left I looked up the cost of the parts that were replaced... less than $100. The tech was done in less then an hour... my bill from Horizon Services was $1400!!!!! insane! I will be sure to share my experience with Horizon Services with everyone I can... Google, Yelp, Nextdoor, etc....

Do not use this company. We had our furnace replaced and our only issue was that the new furnace would not be loud. We were assured it would not be. After installation and many complaints that it was loud it, we were told that it was working properly and that there was nothing that could be done. Later, after hiring a couple of other HVAC companies to try and solve the problem, we found that First Class HVAC never pulled a permit for the install and never performed a load test to determine the correct equipment to install. Instead, they installed a unit that is TWICE the size of the necessary unit! We have asked repeatedly for them to replace the unit or even move it and they will not. It is horrible that they do not stand by their work and correct mistakes. Check the Better Business Bureau. They have 5 complaints already and mine will be the 6th.

I was worried about damage to the property and FC HVAC were very responsive and helpful. Mike, our technician, went out of his way to be helpful and was able to fix the problem literally in 5 minutes! I've worked with Mike over the years at several properties and have found him and FC HVAC to be knowledgeable, skilled, helpful and responsive! :-) they stand by their work and their business.

Good, except they didn’t mention the $675 rebate from the state of Delaware. When I brought it up they did verify it. I got the feeling that they didn’t want to fill out the paperwork unless the customer asked. That said, I still haven’t heard anything about the rebate from them or the State. Also there was no follow up after the technicians installed the unit to find out if everything was OK or if I was satisfied. I don’t think I would use them in the future.

First Class responded within a couple of hours. The technician said he had to order parts. I pointed out that it might be covered by the manufacturers warranty. He said we would be better off letting them fix it and then try to recoup our money from the manufacturer. It would be quicker. I agreed. It took 8 days to get the part. This is in JULY. HOT. It was finally fixed. First Class office said they would file papers with the manufacturer for a warranty claim. Three weeks later they inform us that they could not do it. We would have to do it ourselves. The office manager,Debbie, was rude and condescending. We called a couple of other service companies in our area and they all said that their policy is to file a claim for the customer. At this point it isn't about the money...We just refuse to work with a company that will not do what they said they would do.. Most companies are fine until you have a problem and then you will find out who will be there for you. First Class has NO CLASS in my opinion.

Technicians called prior to arrival and then arrived on time. Maintenance was performed efficiently and issues were explained. Quoted price from office was accurate and technician showed me work order line items and provided an electronic receipt after payment.

Provided quote with 3 levels of equipment quality (good, better, best). Quote included 2 years of maintenance and a 10 year parts and labor guarantee. Labor guarantee is very important as it shows confidence in their recommended equipment. Selected the good system, for a vacation home) and scheduled install date. Install team was great. Really knew their business and had a total of 36 years of experience between them. Did a great job on the installation and you cannot tell anything was even added to the home. Extremely happy with the work and would highly recommend the service.

Service technicians showed up when they said they would and took 3 days for the installation. About 2 weeks prior to that Steve visited my house and went over options for installation and came up with a plan and price. The installers kept me engaged in the process and we made decisions for equipment and placement for every piece of hardware. Before they did any drilling, they had me look at the location and my approval first. The only technicians to work like that. Couldn't be happier.

First Class Heating was really FIRST CLASS. They came and gave an estimate. We were going away in three weeks and they came before we left and installed the system in one very long day for them. They also built a platform to put the system on. The workers were very professional, polite and hardworking. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

The technician came but did not have the needed part. He did clean the part that needed to be replaced. I am still waiting for them to get the part needed to be replaced. Called the office but they said the part had not been ordered but would call me when they got the part. Gave up on them and called someone else.

There was nothing they didn't do. I went thru the house and checked afterwards and everything was done like I expected it to be. They were very courteous and hauled everything off. You could hardly tell they had been there or there was a heat pump out there.
I have my contract with them and I have been using them for years. There were two of them and it took them about 6 hours. They did extremely well. Exceeded my expectations.
