Mahadi was the installer and did a superb job. Great eye for detail and excellent finish. He asked questions to confirm what I wanted or to clarify something. He got the job done in 2 days which included removing moldy green board, replacing one stud which had mold. He treated everything and then did the sealer before installing the finished surface. One other thing...we covered everything in the bedroom with drop cloths but we didn't have a lot of dust. Mahadi didn't use a sledge to knock down walls. He cut out each section and carried it out of the house, minimizing the amount of dust and debris. My wife was REALLY HAPPY about that. There was a little mix up on the shower style but that was resolved the next day by Dan. He was punctual and made sure that everything operated as desired. Amber and Ebony in the office do a great job. Amber does the scheduling and Ebony does the customer service. Both are tops and really make a difference to make sure that my wife and I were satisfied. We are happy with the workmanship and service. Yes, I would recommend Renken to friends and have already had a personal contact ask who did our remodel."

"I highly recommend Five Star Bath Solutions. They are first class, outstanding company that did wonderful job for me. The quality of their work was excellent, and their price was excellent. I did a major master bathroom upgrade (completely new shower, new soaking tub, new Wayne's coating). I got quotes from several competitors and Five Star Baths had by far the best design solution, the best materials (their Sentrel product had a far better look and feel than their competitor's acrylic), and a surprisingly lower cost. I was the most impressed with the quality of people I worked with from the sales person (Patrick), to the owner (Rob), to the designer/installer (Bo), to the office manager (Brittni). They were all very skilled, very experienced professionals, and wonderful to work with. I had tough schedule, and they went out of their way to accommodate me and get the work done on time. "VKB just remodeled our hallway bath, and they did a great job! Despite being a little hard to get in touch with over the holidays we were able to arrange a time for a quote. Calvin, our designer, was on time and quick. He brought up a couple of options while we were reviewing the project that we hadn't considered yet, gave us a very reasonable estimate, made an appointment for us to meet him at the showroom in Columbia, and was gone in less than 45 minutes. No pressure at all, and we enjoyed his advice and personality. When we met Calvin at the showroom and he presented us with a 3D model of our new bathroom and picked out materials, carrying samples around the showroom to see how it would all look together. It was a very easy process, and he did a good job balancing his recommendations with our style choices. We signed the contract and had an estimated start date in less than 2 hours. Watching him poke in our selections into a PDF document was the only tedious part of the process, but the showroom was comfy and just fine. About 2 weeks later Calvin and our project manager Jason arrived for a walkthrough, and Jason verified that the contract matched our understanding of what they'd be doing. We also went over the things that we were on the hook to provide: paint and hardware for the hallway door. Jason also verified the location of our water cut-off valve, electric panel, and where they'd be able to wash paint brushes, etc. About a week and a half later Jason called with the start date. When that day arrived we met Juan and Wilson, who did the actual work on the bathroom. They put plastic and dropcloths down to protect our floors and cleaned up after themselves every day. Materials were delivered when needed and stored in our garage. Some cuts (wood, tile, etc.) were made there and out by our front porch, and they also did a great job working around the rain the plagued us a few days. We were surprised how fast they went and how well everything turned out. About 5 and a half working days until our bathroom was complete. Jason collected the remaining payments along the way, the first one having been made when we signed the contract at the showroom. As with every project, there were a couple of things that didn't go according to plan. We wanted to tile all the way up the wall around the bathtub but we found that the ceiling wasn't level and it would have turned out less than pretty, so went a little shorter than planned but ended up looking like it was meant to be that way from the beginning. There was a leak in the sink drain, so we called Jason and Juan came back the next day and took care of it. I had to clean up a few places where the paint from the baseboard moulding hit the tile and my OCD couldn't just let it go. BUT the bathroom turned out looking fantastic! VKB left the remaining tile, which we donated to a local Habitat for Humanity ReStore. We were really surprised by how well everything worked together, from the colors to the styles, to how nice everything looks now. Our kids say it's like walking into a hotel bathroom. It feels like we really got some high end components installed for a very reasonable price. In summary, we're going to use them again for our master bathroom."

"We were doing a complete gut/remodel job on our kitchen and adding a bathroom where there was a covered back porch. My husband and I were interested in doing portions of the work ourselves, and the John Ruth company was more than willing to coordinate with us on this. We did the demo down to the studs, and they came in and took out the load bearing walls, adding support beams (with a structural engineers plan) and then proceeded to frame in the back porch. At every step of the way, when Will and Mike anticipated a problem that we would encounter when working on our part of it, they explained it to us, and were more than helpful and accommodating. In terms of plumbing, every old pipe in the house was replaced, they roughed in the bathroom according to our plans, and installed the shower pan. They also serviced our old heater and made some tweaks to the system, very knowledgeable about older homes and hot water/steam heat systems. We can't say enough good things about this company - everyone LOVES our kitchen and we loved having the guys here working. Totally trusted them to come and go with house open. They were clean and respectful, and always cleaned up at end of day. Seriously, you want this company to do work for you!"
