Hello! My name is Myrddin Bramucci or Merlin if you will. I was born and raised in Baltimore County doing landscaping the whole way through and worked for a large Nursery up in Street, MD. I've learned many trade secrets throughout the years and plan to learn more through my customer's preferences. I'm a perfectionist and people pleaser so I will not be satisfied until you are satisfied as the homeowner. My skills include waste pickup, pruning, shearing, trimming, mowing, edging and mulching. Currently I work with very few power tools so can only handle small scale jobs, but through customer satisfaction and reliability on my end I aim to use my profits to purchase necessary tools and equipment to get jobs done more efficiently and of higher quality. I look forward to working with you!

"I found these guys on Angi and submitted a request for a quote. About 5 to 10 minutes later Ed called me and said he could be by in about 2 hours and gave me a quick quote. He showed up on time, was very fast and efficient, and my yard looks great! I usually prefer to do the work myself, but work didn't allow any time for that this week, so these guys were a huge relief. 10/10 would definitely hire again, maybe for some more landscaping work."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

There are many ways to cut through roots when digging, especially if your trencher doesn’t seem to be removing the roots. First, use a shovel to expose the roots. Then, use gardening shears to clear out smaller roots or a reciprocating saw to remove larger plant roots. If you plan on keeping the plant, avoid cutting any roots over 2 inches thick.

Tree roots are hearty and complex systems, so they don’t die immediately after the rest of the tree is removed. If you leave the root system in place, it takes anywhere from two to seven years for it to run out of nutrients. It is worth noting, however, that the roots stop growing and expanding after cutting down the rest of the tree.

State and local laws vary, but in most cases, you are allowed to trim any branches from your neighbor's tree that cross your property line. However, it's important to ensure you do not damage the overall health of the tree in the process. Removing branches incorrectly can jeopardize the health of the tree and could lead to you being on the hook to replace it.

A walk-behind trencher can cut through roots as long as they’re not too thick, making a project much easier than digging with a shovel and other hand tools. Assess your terrain and the number of trees in the surrounding area to determine if a walk-behind trencher will ease the job. Digging a trench by hand is much more time-consuming and labor-intensive.

If you have a strong back and a lot of patience, you can dig out a tree stump. You'll need to use a pointed shovel to dig out the soil around the stump, cutting away roots with a pair of clippers as you go. You’ve removed enough soil when you can access the taproot at the bottom of the root ball. After you cut that major artery with a saw or loppers, you should be able to roll the stump over and haul it away.
