"Tom and his son Tommy did a fantastic job. I had an old 2 level wood deck that he re-surfaced with Azek. The challenge was that I had a relatively need vinyl handrail, that I wanted to keep. Many contractors would not do the deck without demolishing the handrails. Tom was meticulous in removing the railing and then re-assembling it after the deck was complete, with no missing or broken parts. He did many repairs to the sub-structure of the deck, including rebuilding the entire stairs, and replacing all the existing joist brackets. The finished deck looks absolutely amazing! Their workmanship is exceptional, and they cleaned up as if they were never here. From the first day, when Tom came to give us an estimate, to the finished product, it was a true pleasure to work with them. They answered all my questions, and discussed various options. Russett Deck was far and away one of the best contractors I have ever worked with, and I will highly recommend them to anyone who wants a beautiful deck."

"This company actually listened to what I wanted. We had a 40 year-old upper and lower outside deck that structurally was sound. If I were to replace these decks as suggested by several companies, my guess is it would have cost $35,000. This company assessed my decks from a structural standpoint and determined that they could rehab the deck with long lasting materials and my deck would be something I would be proud of. "I obtained three estimates for a new deck, including removal of our old one (it wasn't build to code). Fence and Deck Connection was clearly the most experienced and well-organized operation, with many material choices, professional brochures, and still a competitive bid. Andrew was knowledgeable about the design of our deck and gave several insights which in the end turned out to be valuable in helping us make the best design decisions. The crew was professional and the detail in craftsmanship was excellent. Everything was very precisely measured and cut, and the seams with existing structure of the house are very tight. They were prompt to come back to fix a small detail that I found was not done properly and made it right. Also, the old deck was open underneath, whereas the new one has skirting around the base so that it made an enclosed space under the deck. There were some pavers under there that had been removed in the process of putting in the new footers, and even though it wasn't visible from the outside, they also replaced those pavers that had been removed so that's its a smooth surface for my recycling and trash cans under there. Overall, am very pleased with how things turned out, and would not hesitate to choose them again for any other projects. They really seek to make their customers 100% satisfied. Highly recommended."
