He asked questions and talked to me for a few minutes to determine the easiest way to do the install and get me the outcome I wanted. The installer arrived a few minutes early. He was professional and friendly. At the end he cleaned up after himself. My only complaint was it took Chris a long time to get me a quote. His quote was lower than the other quotes so I would have hired him right away. Apparently, I caught him going out of town."

This was a long and drawn out process due to the various approvals needed from Montgomery County as well as coordination with Washington Gas (which ended up not just being a simple sign off but necessitating an additional, expensive upgrade to the gas line from the street to our home). Nevertheless, GAC did a fantastic job shepherding this process over the 6+ months of waiting on stakeholders, and they were also maximally accommodating to our family’s significant constraints on time and availability (due to health concerns related to a medically fragile family member). After realizing my hvac system also had a humidifier function that was incompatible with the thermostat I bought they were able to properly install my exhaust fan (I bought the wrong kind as well) and hung a chandelier under two hours. The electric company sent people out to check the current coming to my house and said everything is okay. They are going to install a monitor to check what is going on when there is an outage. So as of now my generator does not come on."
